Very nice discovery! Excellent welcome with very good advice! Very good tapas and superb tortilla. Want to taste everything but we will be back soon. Dog accepted. Value for money at the top level because we benefited from 50% with the fork. We recommend.

Pushing the door, here I am in Spain
The deliciously vintage decor is a trip to the south.
The cuisine is tasty and plentiful
With the added bonus of the boss’s sympathy and the cook’s smile
To recommend and quickly come back as a couple

We ended up having light dinner there one night and did not regret it. The food - in the form either of tapas or more abundant - was excellent, as well as the red wine we had to go with it. The service there is more than friendly and all in all we had a lovely time in this restaurant.

quite disappointed by the quality, I took the artichoke dish, shavings of Manchego Serrano ham... I'm not a bad customer, but the Manchego had to be looked for with a magnifying glass on the plate, the artichokes looked like real preserved, and the ham I hope I'm wrong but it wasn't cut on site... it was smooth like the ones that come out of plastic trays, no taste... in short it didn't break anything, and it cost 20th ! for the benefit of the doubt I won't do it again. Too bad the setting is very pleasant

Tucked away in the Old Quarter away from the crowds, this tiny (6 tables) tapas bar is an ideal place for a tasty lunch. Reasonably priced, authentically Spanish, and a welcome break from the Corsican and North African dominated cuisine in Marseille.

Short version:
The restaurant offers a warm welcome and a pleasant setting, but the Spanish cuisine offered is somewhat deceptive, moving away from the authenticity of the pintxos and raciones of Donostia or Barcelona.
Some dishes are better than others, like chorizo croquetas, but others lack finesse, like eggplant fritters.
The wine was a nice surprise.
The weakness lies in the deli.
Moreover, the Awards seem excessive to us, much higher than those in a city like Biarritz.
A little generosity in the discovery of products and a revision of prices seem necessary to improve the experience.
————— ————— ————— —————
Long version:
I don't like to criticize an address where I was well received.
We're coming, it's crowded. The reception is smiling. We're moving in. The frame inside is kindly charged and warm. Outside, the terrace is a bit steep. Our guests are considerate and helpful.
Las, the Spain proposed to us, is somewhat mock. We are quite far, in spirit as in Awards, from Donostia or Barcelona.
The uneducated, neoconservative bank employees of the snowflake generation, the next table, are their business. They are more likely to criticize their employer and managers than the food they are served. And are not really able to express themselves on either.
But back to our case, the table.
Unfortunately, it is not up to expectations.
Pan con tomato is good but deserves a better baker.
Croquetas are homemade and not bad. Chorizo ones better than the ham one.
Eggplant donuts lack fluffiness and chestnut honey is too present.
Rabas are rabas but rather than a simple mayonnaise a little more pep would have been desired.
The wine is a pretty good surprise.
The main defect is unfortunately an inescapable Iberian marker, cold cuts.
All this is a shame because a little sourcing, a little generosity in discovery and a (slight?) revision of rates would do a lot of good to this address and are widely desirable.
Awards are high and it is better to come here by booking with a platform offering discounts ( 30-50% depending on the day).
For example, the rates applied to Padrón peppers would make any Basque of Guipuscoa or Navarre naturally constituted (i.e. robust). A “Race” here represents the Award of about 3 kilograms of this merchandise at a Southwest Super Point of Sale. So yes there are the personnel, the charges, the taxes and the compensation of the company and the entrepreneur (2 distinct things). But we still have to pay about 200% of the Award charged by the best stages of the kind of a town like Biarritz, well known for its economical, affordable side.
But it is true that we are closer to Italy than to the border between Le Perthus and La Jonquera and even further from Irún. This may explain this.
Nevertheless, to deserve the extra cost, we would have appreciated for example the provision of a cup of good olive oil from Empordá or elsewhere on the peninsula. It would even have been a little publicity at the shop next to the restaurant.
In short, I remain doubtful, like my guests. Too bad again.
I hope that all this is taken as it should be. An invitation to improvement rather than an activation of the ire of our hosts who for the moment were charming during the service.
A good example of small touches that change everything and impeccable sourcing here:

Great discovery of Spanish specialties in a pretty, very well decorated setting, a favorite for the antique tableware.

Authentic dishes so good that we had the same thing twice. Friendly setting and impeccable service. Ask the boss for advice before choosing the wine.
