Come as you are, here they focus on having a good time. Food and wine will keep you more than happy. It's a vibrant, creative area that could keep you busy for hours. Well worth a visit.

The concept of this place is nice and also the internal room creates a confortable atmosphere, but unfortunately the service was awful and very unprofessional. The waitress almost forgot we existed and we had to wait over an hour for our food to arrive.

You want to eat something special, tired of the standard selection you get everywhere else? Go there. =) They have also some vegetarian meals. The waiter gives you an overwiev if desired with an explanation to all the courses they have by himself. Very friendly place! We ate there a salad (st. marquis or st. something...) and gnocchi gratin. Both meals were prepared with love which could be seen also by the colorful decoration. The salad was one of the best and most special ones I have ever eaten. Figues and Chevre together in some pastry - exquisite! Accompanied by various salads. The gnocchis were also very good but not outstanding - a bit more variety with the accompanying vegetables would have been nice. We would have liked to try out other courses, but sadly it was our last day in marseille. What they have to offer sounded really delicous, especially if you eat meat.

We went here reading the comments from tripadvisor. It was an excellent night, great food, good service and very cousy space. It doesnt look like that from outside, but you find a room at the end of the bar. Great products and wine. 100% recommended

I took my in-laws to this restaurant with my boyfriend when they were visiting us in Marseille last summer. The resto is situated in the Cours Julien area of the city, which is quite bohemian, and the resto itself is in a nice street with lots of restos and overhanging twinkling lights, which I think makes this quite a romantic area to dine in. There are tables so you can sit outside tho cars do come down the street and it's a bit of a squeeze (I have had to push my chair in in order to let a car go by!!) but in the summer, it's far too hot to sit indoors! The food itself was amazing. I had the cheese and charcuterie dish. The cheese is kept inside its wooden box and put in the oven so it's all gooey. It was served with charcuterie (cold meats), potatoes and salad. It was a very filling dish and reminded me of raclette you would have in the mountains. There is a set menu available as well. I'll definitely be back!

Just in the heart of Couse Julien, nice and cozy restaurant with friendly staff (ready to explain the dishes), very good food, not too expensive and good background music! Reservation is suggested. Grande Philippe!

This cozy little wine bar served French food at an affordable price and with great service. With only a little French in our vocabulary we were made to feel right at home without the place being touristy. A great find!

Went here for a romantic dinner for 2 - loved the atmosphere right away! Nice and cozy, we were led to our table in the back. Room was dimly lit with interesting contemporary art on the walls and candles to add to the ambiance. Like many restaurants in Europe that I've been to, the menu for the evening was written on a chalkboard and contained a great selection of French food. I chose a fondue dish with melted cheese and plenty of fruits, breads and charcuterie to dip in. It. was. AMAZING. As a huge cheese lover, I've tried plenty of it, and this ranked pretty high. My boyfriend got a potato/salmon dish which was good as well. In tradition with another European standard that I love, wine was comparable in price with water, so obviously we shared a carafe. After dinner they brought us a complimentary sample of a house made liquor, fig flavored, which was also quite delicious. This place was a great date spot, but it would also be a nice place to go with a group of friends or with family. Definitely check it out if you are near the Cours Julien!
