A nice walk up from the port, this cosy restaurant was a delight. The owners were expecting us as we reserved through the fork app and they greeted us with smiles and our table was ready. The food was fresh and delicious, and made by...their chef. I recommend the antipasti to share. A nice variety of pasta, fish, and meat dishes on their menu to choose from. A great Chianti Classico accompanied our meal. They even made a custom pasta for one teen in our party of 5 who enjoys basic pasta and Parmesan the best.More

We were a table for 4 last Thursday evening. Great pasta, excellent house white wine, tasty desserts: Cafe gourmand for 2 of us, Tiramisu and Strawberries with Chantilly cream for the others. Friendly staff, enjoyable last evening in Marseille.

Had fond memories of the first time I ate at this restaurant and was surprised of the owners choice of their new restaurant. It was ok but not very cozy which it used to be and didn't find the food to be the same. The...staff and owners are super nice but not sure I will go back. And found it expensive.More

I came here to have a nice dinner during a business trip. And, indeed, I had one. The restaurant is not particularly fancy, or busy for that matter, but it is really cozy, the staff is really friendly, and the food is really good (maybe...not 100% Italian...but still). Should I be back in Marseille I'll visit again!!More

This was the highlight of the culinary part of our vacation. Food was excellent and the Grillo wine was fantastic. The owner/host talked us through the dishes and was a delight throughout the evening. A little away from the port but a very enjoyable evening!

We found La Table de Casimir on Travel Advisor because it was family-friendly. The restaurant did not disappoint and reviews did not mislead us. Phil and Margaurite (Maggie), the owners, were superb. The food was delicious but offering our daughter stamps and markers to play...with before our meal made us feel like guests in their home. Traveling with a four-year old to a foreign country and not knowing the language has been difficult (shame on us for not learning a bit more French) but having restaurants like La Table de Casimir made our experience in Marseille one of the best of our travels. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal by a great family!More

After reading about this restaurant on Tripadvisor went here on my holiday trip to Marseille. Please believe everything positive that has been written on Tripadvisor: the food is truly amazing, and the waiters serve it and tell about it with passion. Real Italians moved to...France; ate the best shrimp linguine in my entire life here. Buffalo mozzarella as it should be: still fluid inside. No single negative word possible about this restaurant!!More

...This is the place to find it. Tasty, good price and very very friendly owner. I booked this after reading the reviews and had a vegan colleague with me. So finding restaurants that cater to a vegan and a meat eater is hard. But this...place surpassed our expectations. The food is very very tasty. The vegan had a pasta dish that was delicious. Me, the meat eater had the lasagne which was amazing. The portion looked small but by the time I finished it, it was just right. Followed it up with the chocolate fondant. AMAZING! The owner even tried to cut up some fruit for the vegan. But he was too full from the pasta and wanted to savour the taste. Lovely restaurant with a lovely owner and great warm vibe. Another TripAdvisor successful find! And the menu is in French, Italian and English!More

When in Marseille one has to go to la Table de Casimir to have the best pasta of the city. The surprise is that, not only the pasta is amazing, but any fish dish, appetizer and not to mention dessert! The wine selection is quite...interesting and offers rare Italian finds at a very reasonable price. And to make our experience even more unforgettable, Philippe and Magali took care of us (and the other customers!) as if we were friends who were coming back for a visit. Check out the unique Pesto!More

Cas himself welcomed and served us. If the kitchen gets backed up you're going to have to wait a while, but the food is excellent. One thing: the chocolate fondant is indescribably fantastic. Be sure to save room for it.

This is a smaller restaurant, seems to be owner run, with good food. We had a reservation for a Monday night, and when we got there I thought we didn't need it, but the place filled up fairly quickly, so I would recommend a reso...regardless of when you are going. Parking in this area is hard to find, so I would suggest walking or take a cab if you have to. The service was a bit on the slow side, but it did get busy fast and it seemed like they could have used at least one more person helping with the service. By European standards, it probably wasn't slow at all. We tried the gnocchi with eggplant, it was good but fairly mild flavored. We also tried the sea bream, this dish was pretty much spot on. They were very kind, and the food was good, worth a visit.More
