Every time I pass by Marseille in the summer I want to stop in this tea room, with its tables outside is a wonderful place for a break . Delicious quiche, homemade cakes with the flavor of the mother's ones and a wide selection of teas to try. The pies are cheaper than in pastry and with their slice you... More

The Cup of Tea is well located, near the Old Port, but far enough away to be less busy. The coffee is very good.

This is exactly what I was looking for. A very nice and friendly ambience to relax, chat, read and drink tea. When the weather allowed, the terrace is just awesome. But interior is perfect too. You can buy tea in packs to take home. You can also buy books I suppose. So now, I'm there every saturday, you can come... More

Good service and reasonable prices here. A place to relax and watch the world go by. Pleasant view across the road. The terrace is slightly elevated so you are not staring at parked cars. Liked the quirky music/book decor. Clean loos!

Having walked back from the Old Town, just before I reach Hotel Dieu I saw this quaint little cafe. The lady managing it spoke very little English, and my French is poor, but once I had the menu with over 50 different teas, all was well. Perfect spot to rest and enjoy tea beautifully served.

Good place just to take a break for some cake or tart and a wide choice of tea. Friendly, steady trade and some shade from the sun.

Possibly one of the best cups of tea I've ever had. And that's coming from a Brit! A pot of white china tea, with instructions from the owner on how long to steep the leaves for, plus a slice of apricot tart complimented a perfect afternoon pit-stop in this cozy tea-room full of character.

When you've had enough of "croissant" this and "pain" that, stop here for some tea and toast - a nice little terrace, friendly staff and more different types of tea than you can wave a teabag at.

From the name of this place I assumed that it would have an English atmosphere, but it doesn't - it's completely French. They sell quite a lot of French books. Didn't see any English books, but they may have some. The tea and cake were fine. The service was good.
