We only went here for a drink and sat outside. It was good value and a great place to watch the world go by after quite a bit of walking

We went to le pointu last Summer and 2 pastis were to much to ask in a quiet night... But last night i asked for a monkey shoulder and was brought an i don t know what. It was probably the worst scotch i've ever had!

We have tried only the café gourmand, but that one 2 different times. It was one of the best I have tried! Good espresso, a piece of perfect brownie, whipped cream (not a spray!), a piece of lemon pie, very delicous and of course creme brulee! Next time the lemon pie was rechanged with cream with a piece of strawberry... More

Enjoyed a lovely late night glass of wine. Located on pretty square with water fountain/beautiful sculpture. Inexpensive, nice guys serving.

I've been here for 3 days so far and have eaten here 4 times already. Great service, great patio which is always packed.. Definitely a good sign and awesome food! My favourite thing here so far has been their meat platter paired with their cheese platter... It's a must do! Oh and it goes down pretty well with a few... More

Just off the road surrounding the Vieux Port, this small restaurant was the oasis we sought after a long day of walking around and sightseeing. The place is situated on Cours Honoré-d'Estienne-d'Orves -- the largest pedestrianised space in the city centre, set out with many café-terraces. Thanks to this open space you can feel the breeze, cooling you down on... More

Went during Euro 2016, so understandably busy. Menu was varied, and the food fantastic. Had to wait a while, but given the restaurant was full, was expected. Staff friendly and price very reasonable. Would recommend to any visitors to Marseille

Le Pointu is a very nice place in a very nice square. But, I recomend to avoid to order Gambas grillés. They didn't cleaning the scampi. It is grilled with all intestine inside.

My wife and I walked for several miles in downtown Marseille and along the Vieux Port before running into Le Pointu in a large plaza. Although it was partly cloudy and cool there were only a few tables available. We read the menu, viewed some of the dishes on tables, and decided that it looked like our type of place.... More

Came here attracted by the sunny outdoor seating area, the place was packed on a Monday morning and we were lucky to find a table. We ordered quickly and we waited a good 20/25 minutes for the food. The octopus was very very good and I definitely recommend it. The grilled sardines a bit less, and I was surprised to... More
