Ideal place to have an authentic french coffee in an otherwise not so authentic village. Nice little terras with a view on the Luberon.

Small coffee bar frequented mainly by locals. Few simple, bare tables. Order at the bar and take to a table or drink standing up. Select from basket of croissants on bar but don't expect to be given a plate. Service is non-existent so if you...More

I was told that the Cercle establishments originated soon after the French revolution, as a non-profit entity serving beverages at very reasonable prices: coffee, beer, wine, pastis and other alcoholic beverages are very cheap here, and they have an outside balcony with a million-dollar view!...More

If you can get one of the 4 tables on the terrace - amazing view south-west - you have to march through a room of locals to actually see the terrace - well worth a visit

We loved the ambience of a local cafe. We had friendly service and good coffee/drinks. If the weather allows sit on balcony.

A modern cafe with a beautiful outside terrace with wonderful views from high up in Gordes. You can see for miles, even beyond Cavaillon some 18km away. As for the coffee it's the best cafe au lait we've had in France, beautifully milky and frothy...More

Among the best views in Gordes can be had from the small balcony attached to this cafe. It does not serve any food but the drinks seemed reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit.

Go off hours to more easily grab a spot on the terrace (or on a cool, windy morning as we did). Order your coffee at the bar and head outside. You can pick up pastries elsewhere and bring them along. This place is thankfully lost...More

Really excellent place to take a café and view the landscape from the small balcony. If you want breakfast, you must buy your croissant in some boulangerie in Gordes and take it with a the coffe here...good idea.
