This place confirmed the worst suspicions we had about St Tropez. A very limited menu with waiters who are playing hard to get. Patisserie can't compete with the average country side bakery. #fail

Probably the most famous cafe in St Tropez. Always worth a visit and this time no exception. Its the first time we've eaten there and we were pleasantly surprised.

situated at the very heart of the world famous Harbor of St Tropez you feel in the middle of a very chic crowd however the seating is less than comfortable and cramped.

Extremely expensive but somehow worth every penny. We had dinner here with a family of 7 and enjoyed the very high quality food and the excellent service. Prices are over the top, but with celebrities all around, who's complaining.

This is a true institution of Saint Tropez, many non-French do not know that Senequier is synonyms with the town, so for many it is a "must" no-matter-what to enjoy a coffee here. However all the rest of us, who are liberated of these nostalgic...More

Description
"And God ... created the French Riviera"From a small fishing village to a gorgeous resort on the Mediterranean coast, internationally well-known since the '50s, SaintTropez has become the epicenter of the French Riviera and Sénéquier, its cardinal point. The café was founded in 1930 on the harbour and on the village side, the patisserie which was established in 1887 is still there, located at the “Place Aux Herbes”.When the first artists, writers and actors landed on the peninsula of Saint-Tropez in the late 19th century, the Sénéquier family was already sharing their ancestral recipes: White nougat, tart tropézienne and candied fruits. The large red terrace with its splendid view over the harbor came much later, as a "Tea Room" at first, a frame for the homemade pastries and sweets, and then, as "Le Café Sénéquier", a privileged observatory of the "Nouvelle Vague” (an art movement in French cinema from 1956 to 1963) and an eternal scene of the French Riviera.Mediterranean RedSome 125 years have passed and Sénéquier remains faithful to its family traditon and Mediterranean values such as authenticity, quality, pleasure and friendliness. On the red terrace of this famous "Red Sénéquier", like nowhere else, enjoy the sun, the heat, the food, the entertainment... The Mediterranean.
