We had dinner here with our son. The staff fitted us in on a long central table elbow to elbow with other guests. Hence the name of the place, it seems. The atmosphere was nice and cosy, staff friendly and attentive and the food very good. Especially successfull was husbands huge rib of beef. I had asked my duck without... More

We visited La Table for dinner, based purely on TripAdvisor reviews. The restaurant itself is stylish and beautifully set out with a variety of different table types and with one wall given over to racks of good quality wine; menus for food and for wine are presented on blackboards. The atmosphere is relaxed and the lady handling everything at the... More

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at La Table, which was probably the best meal of our 6 week holiday through Italy and France! The staff were terrific, friendly and smiling. I had ordered the duck breast at other restaurants and none had quite hit the mark, except this one which was cooked perfectly. Beautiful flavours and meal,... More

We hadn't made a reservation but just wandered by and decided to go in without any expectations. However, once we received our dishes we were very surprised about the delicious food we had been served. Very friendly staff as well. It was a great evening.

Following the comments on Trip Advisor, I booked a table... We were made very welcome... Hubby had the Cote de Boeuf which did not disappoint, and the very sharp knife made it a joy to eat... I had the Dorade with the most amazing Risotto I have ever tried... Followed my lemon meringue tart and a chocolate mousse for me...... More

A great cosy, small wine cave and restaurant. A small kitchen which can make it a bit hectic during lunch hours but the food is of excellent quality. I ate here with my girlfriend on a whim and it was so great we came back again some time later with even more people. The duck magret was exquisite saignant, the... More

Visited mid-week in April as a party of four. The 500g steak was excellent (best I've had in a long time) and the crevettes with noodles went down well too. Nice bottle of Bourgeuil to top it off. Great, friendly service from the moment we walked in and the tables filled from about 9pm providing a nice informal atmosphere. Merci!

This restaurant is located on a quiet street in town, off the tourist run. It has a long "social" table in the middle, but many smaller table settings around for more privacy. The food is excellent and the wine selection great as you would expect of a true fine-food French restaurant.

Entering the restaurant for lunch, the place was quiet though full. The ambiance is nice, with wine bottles and boxes lining the walls and a huge table able to fit 14 right in the middle of the room in addition to multiple smaller tables around the exterior of the room. Two of us got the côte de bouef which was... More
