A small bistro on the west Remparts of St Paul de Vence where they cater to English speakers as well as a number of other European languages. It's a family business with a friendly atmosphere but above all with delicious food and very reasonable prices by Côte d'Azur standards. It is closed on Wednesdays otherwise it's open practically all day.

Excellent food in a very picturesque location. Friendly staff, fair prices. I feel the urge to set imacanon's review in French straight though, as I am part of the couple she mentions. First of all, the host kindly asked them to free the table several times upon our arrival. And she had good reason to do so, as we had... More

The small room is atmospherically cosy, with exposed stone walls & bistro furniture or there are a few outdoor seats with commanding views out over the ramparts. We were attracted by menu which isn't long (an encouraging sign) but still has a good range of choices. Having ordered we waited the best part of an hour to be served; apparently... More

This restaurant came highly recommended from a local shopkeeper. We both had appetizer + main course and I had dessert. Each dish used fresh ingredients and was carefully executed. The hot chocolate and espresso was average, but the dessert was super. The wine was good and if you sat outside on one of the 2 available tables, the view was... More

Me and my partner found Malabar when we were looking for a place to hide from the rain. What a great find! Cozy restaurant which is clearly loved by the locals. I had the tartare de boeuf which was the best I have ever had. Full of flavour and the perfect amount of spice! My partner had the duck which... More

We stopped here for a light meal. The food was fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is quaint with a beautiful view of the mountainside. Our service too was very good and they all seemed to be working hard.

We had a meal here last night. Good quality food & very reasonable prices, €28 for three courses. The portions are generous and the wine ok too.
