After a breathtaking (in more ways than one) hike from Menton and what seemed like a never ending series of stairs we felt a reward was thoroughly well deserved. This delightful little cafe fitted the bill perfectly. The village of Roquebrune itself was remarkably quaint and unspoilt. Fraise et Chocolat complemented the atmosphere of this rustic village beautifully with a... More

This little restaurant is a perfect place for a quick lunch, cup of coffee, tea and a delicious french pastry. The secret to it is the stunning view from the deck out the back of the restaurant where you can sit and eat or drink. Friendly owner, clean toilets and the food is basic fare at a reasonable price.

Wonderful little bistro with an outdoor terrace. The salads were great, as was the beer! Seems to be a great place for locals to visit and catch up on the happenings of the day.

My favorite lunch cafe with the most cozy atmosphere, view, location and friendly service - always nice homemade different cakes, quiches and coffee.

An oasis of calm, on a sunny terrace. The hot paninis, cold (on-tap) beer and delicious, frothy cappuccino were a very welcome late snack/lunch. I can't praise Fraise et Chocolat to all visitors to the Roquebrune Old Village. Its worth the walk from the train station for the food, ambiance of the wonderful owner and terrific vista from the Cap-Martin... More

I visited Roquebrune-Cap-Martin for the first time this week from Nice. Laurence and I set off for the 30 minute train journey from Nice Ville little knowing that upon arrival at the station to get to the Medieval village and castle atop Cap Martin you have to climb the equivalent of 131 storey building - we know this is the... I enjoyed very much this little place with a wonderful view in the central square of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. The service was very good. They have a nice little terrace in the back, which is great for watching the mountains and the gliders flying by. Very fresh, home-made "tarte aux fruits" - a real feast for the senses! The place can become... More
