A very happy family restaurant ! We loved the atmosphere (mainly because of the owner who was very warm cheerful and enthusiastic) and decorations. Food was good and very much home cooking. Pricing was very reasonable. Very recommended

Excellent food at a good price. The host is amazing, friendly and vivacious. Recommended for a real French experience.

coming here is always great fun, partly for the food, partly for the excellent host and partly for the amazing quirky decor and paintings inside, just like you imagine an almost dreamlike village restaurant in provence to be. It opens all winter and has a roaring log fire, very reasonable prices too!

We have now visited Didier ++++ +++ times over the last few years and he never changes - great all round - you do have to get in early and reserve a table is a must. we arrived at 7.30 which was the best way to get served quickly.....others arriving at 8.30 had a long wait. We just relax and... More

Charming restaurant with a great atmosphere, cash only as others have said, and it was very busy, the only thing that let the place down was the food! It wasn't terrible by any means but it could be better, shame as there is a lot to like about the place, staff & owner.

We loved our gourmet experience here. We have been in more crowded spots, even in Canada, but the charm makes it worth it. Tell 'Didier' if the chair is wobbly, he aims to please unless overwhelmed. Best dinner of our trip to southern France.

The food I had on my visit to this restaurant was awful. I complained to the owner,Didier, that I could not eat my main course of lemon chicken because it was absolutely horrible, he was not bothered by my comments and offered no apology or alternative dish so I went hungry and had to pay for that privilege. Never again.... More

My wife had been here previously with a friend and wanted to share the experience with me. Unfortunately the whole thing was lost on me although the restaurant itself was packed. Firstly the restaurant only accepts cash and the nearest cash machine is a good 10 minutes walk way. Service is by way of the owner only and hence when... More

I really wanted to like this place, and let me begin by saying it was packed all night - so I may be way off base or just not in the right mood for it. But, here is what I experienced. Reservation at 8:30. We were probably the last table seated. The tables on either side of ours had to... More

We ordered the lamb confit special and it was amazing--very tender slow cooked dish and full of flavor . Loved it. It went great with a nice bottle of the local red wine. But the owner is absolutely part of the attraction here. He is fun to watch, whirling around the restaurant, taking orders, greeting diners, popping corks, making jokes... More
