The location is amazing, in the very crowded Cours Saleya, next to the Marché aux Fleurs square, in the old town of Nice, the Vieux Nice. The offer some niçoise specialities among many other food. Their offer is very wide. The service is quick. We...tasted the Farcis Niçoise, with different vegetables, which was a good one. They offer well some Provence wines.More

Prices in this restaurant are really unbalanced. What you get for a 29€ menu is at least 4 times more than what you get for a 30€ main dish. Two of us got the menu and were full and happy, two of us paid more...to leave the restaurant still hungry. This does not make sense! Too bad because it's a nice place and the food is good.More

Went here for dinner on a very hot August evening. Service was slow but very forthcoming. The place was full so I can understand. Pizza's were good, other food was average. They did not announce the specials when we ordered but did everything they could...to offer us those specials anyway. So, summarizing, service 5 stars, food 3 stars.More

We went looking for local dishes and we found them! Huge range of dishes on the menu, vibey, fun place in the old town, lots of character in the area

We love this place. Usually go once a week. Amazing salade niçoise, ravioli daube, pizza. All great. And very reasonably priced, super efficient service and very friendly. All great for visitors and locals alike. Only downside and why I can’t give it a five stars...this time is because the covid hygiene just wasn’t as high as other places so we will give it a break for a few months. Other than wearing masks they didn’t really do anything more with surfaces, distancing etc. Compared with other places it just made us a bit nervous. Still great and will go back later but for now will avoid.More

Too pricey, honestly. I ordered linguine con vongole (but main ingredient was garlic - I had never seen anything like that before, I fear I will digest the meal in 2024) and pasta was overcooked - unforgivable. La frittura di calamari was mixed with plenty...of fried vegetables (not sure what recipe is this either) and paying 21 euros for fried carrots & zucchini mixed with a few squids is not acceptable, is it? There were 4 of us; we split one starter and had one course each; we even remained very conservative with the booze (one beer and one glass of wine in total for the table). No dessert either. We ended up paying nearly 130 euros, not quite sure how (we were there with our children, 5 and 6 yrs old). Service was nice, our waiter was friendly; the place was quite busy so it must be popular. The bill was just too steep for what we’ve been served, both in terms of quality and quantity.More

We had a meal here a week ago, the service was great, all the staff are lovely and very welcoming. Food and wine we had where OK. prices a little expensive. The terrace seating area is huge but you have to go outside to smoke...which is fine as it’s completely enclosed. The interior is beautiful I would recommend sitting inside!More

I was in Nice last year, and Safari was my favourite place to eat. It was really fantastic. I would go back to Nice just to eat at Safari, and of course walk the promenade.

I have had both lunch and dinner in this restaurant a few weeks ago. It is delightful to sit outside in the winter sun and enjoy a glass of wine and a light lunch here. Everything was just fine. The ambiance is superb. You are...really in Nice! In the evening, we sat inside (two people) and ate a fritto misto with a side dish of vegetables each and a half bottle of wine which came to 77 euro. Excellent fritto misto!More

Never had to book a table. And 7:30 is fairly early, so you should be OK just turning up.
