Beyond the fact that we enjoyed ourselves we had a great meeting with Chef Giuseppe who shares his passion for the restaurant with his customers. Really an extraordinary address in Nice to discover.

We had dinner at Elli's house this evening and we had a wonderful time... I found my Sicily in Nice in their restaurant... qualified staff and the owners are top notch... the food is worth it because the raw materials are there and you can feel them... I hope to come back soon

We come regularly for lunch with friends. Always well received, cooking at the top (polenta sausages and chard today). The selection of Giuseppe wines is always clever. Very friendly staff.

Small place where reservations are recommended, we have been several times for lunch and we have always had a great time!
On our 3 year old's birthday they also played him a little song!

After spending time finding this restaurant which was recommended by our tour guide we were told the kitchen was closed .. it was just before 10pm so was v disappointed considering opening hours were until 00:00 … cannot comment on the food as I didn’t have the opportunity to try it !!

Every time we walked past it looked super busy so we decided the book. The hype is understandable as the food was spectacular and all the waiters are lovely and the owner too!
The only comment i would make is that they were out of stock on a couple things but they more than made up for that!

My boyfriend and I came across this place because we had just gotten massages up the street and it started pouring rain so we had to get somewhere to cover ourselves. Out of the options we saw, we came into Casa Elli because it looked yummy and cozy (and had free wifi haha). Man, are we happy we did!! This place was AMAZING and had the BEST coconut gelato I had ever tasted. This is coming from someone who has traveled many places and has tried many kinds of gelato from different cities/countries. The gentleman owner who took care of us was so nice and friendly, he made you feel like you were in his home being taken care of! We ended up coming back the next day, and plan on going back next time we are in Nice!
BTW, we had a few different flavors of gelato and pastries and all of it was delicious. Don't miss out!

This small coffee shop was close to our hotel and so warmly welcoming that we stopped by 3 times in 3 days. Staff are proud of their Italian heritage and serve Italian pastries and gelato as good as in Italy. Go early for the pastries, they do sell out, especially on weekends. Coffee, in all the variations we ordered, was well prepared, not just the stuff emerging from pods as in so many of Nice's coffee shops.

Not only is this the best coffee I've had thus far in Nice (and believe me, I've been trying everywhere), but also the pistachio gelato I had the day before rivalled that of Arlequin, which until now was my go-to place in Nice for great gelato. Friendly staff and coffee prices more in line with Italy than Nice ensure that this is my new local.

Really nice place to have some good ice cream or sweet and real Italian coffee! The owners are funny and very welcoming. Price are not high and it seems like to be in Italy. Highly recommended
