A lovely sunny lunch in this idyllic setting on what was the old diving platform situated to the left (as you look out to sea) of Nice port. You eat while perched, sat comfortably on the restaurant’s covered platform, above the sea. Stunning view. A...more limited menu to what we have experienced here before and a little bit expensive (especially the shared antipasti). The quality of the food and service was excellent. The risotto with prawns was exceptional.More

Excellent lunch time visit...the restaurant was busy and bustling .We luckily had the table in the most beautiful spot at the very front of the establishment looking out to sea.The food was well presented and beautifully cooked. Our waiter was attentive as well as striking up...a nice rapport with our group. We were here to celebrate a birthday and couldn’t have chosen a more unique, beautiful setting. This was my third visit to the Plongeoir and each time I feel I leave feeling I can’t wait for the next visit!More

Such a beautiful setting (the most amazing I've ever visited). The staff are lovely and welcoming, even though the menu is limited the food we ordered was spot on. Risotto was beautiful and the beef was divine. The vegetarian option was also delicious! Definitely worth...a visit and worth every penny! Very reasonable pricing for the location/setting and the service. Even if it's not for food this place is worth a visit just for a drink!!! Absolutely amazing!!!!More

All I can say is "wow" when it comes to the location of this amazing restaurant. The view we had overlooking Cap Ferret was brilliant. The food itself was (as expected) mainly a fresh seafood-based menu, excellently presented and well cooked. I would also say...there was a good distance between tables and I did not feel uncomfortable despite the restaurant being full.More

Just went for drinks and cannot wait to be back. You literally sit almost with your feet in the sea. Very quick & friendly waiter. A truly unique spot away from the city crowds!

Superb location, very good food with fresh and tasty local products. A place I definitely recommend to those who can afford it, as prices are rather high. Valet service for those who come by car, always a plus.

The great thing about this Resturant is the setting which is stunning. However, for the price of the meal we were a little disappointed with the service provided. We felt as though we were rushed into taking our food orders which were very limited and...arrived very, very quickly (whilst my partner was not currently seated, resulting in luke-warm food for him). We then felt pressured to order desert, which was tasty but not for the price paid. As is the ‘done thing’ in France, we tipped our waiter however received no thank you or a goodbye on our exit. We spent a maximum of 45 minutes in the Resturant due to overly quick, average service. It would have been nice to sit and enjoy the view. You pay for the surroundings.More

Hello, The restaurant is closed from about mid-November until mid-March as the weather is too cold, even with our heaters. We hope we will welcome you for another occasion ! Best regards, Le Plongeoir
