Went with my aunt during our all-girls summer vacation. Selected this Michelin star restaurant and absolutely loved it. Service was amazing, and we constantly felt attended to. It was a beautiful dinner, albeit a bit long at 3 hours. Each dish was delightful. I loved the wines paired with it. Needless to say we walked out very happy and full.

I would recommend avoiding this place if you would like a well seasoned meal with friendly service. You won't get it here. I was treated appalling as a customer, with poor table service and ultimately disgusting service when complaining to the manager regarding the quality of the food. I paid €60 for two meals which were over seasoned, undercooked and... More

Perfect restaurant in Nice in a lovely little stone cellar. We both had polenta with octopus and chorizo to start, follow by a cheese fondue, both of which were totally delicious!! Wine was wonderful too. People moaning about the smelly air....you're in a CHEESE restaurant, therefore it will smell cheesy...in my opinion that's a good thing!! We would definitely go... More

The cheese variation was the best!!! Also mozzarella salad was not just regular appetizer you get everywhere. The athmosphere was unique since we sat in a stony cave-like room with cosy jazz music on. (Visited in August 2014)

Hidden resto non-touristic that tourist would absolutely love. If you enjoy cheese and French cuisine with good wine here is the place to go. Super yummy! Great service too.

Loved this restaurant. Amazing food and amazing wine. Really enjoyed my birthday meal here Watching them make your pasta dish in the cheese is something we haven't seen before or since!

Great little place for lovely French cheese. Small menu, but great options. The smell mentioned by others, I think is actually the smell of cheese and not stale air. You'd expect that given all the cheese they have! Helpful, pleasant waiters/tress let us try a few wines until we liked one, and answered any questions about the menu. Would defo... More

We went here for dinner tonight based on the reviews and were quite disappointed. Sure the restaurant is centrally located and has a great feel when you walk down to the cute dining area that used to be a cave like wine cellar, but once you sit and breathe uncirculated air and look at mould on the walls it becomes... Tucked away in the old town, and so easy to miss even if you are in front of it - lies a foodie gem in Nice. This bistro serves awesome cheese based preparing incl cheese platters. The restaurant area is in the basement and it's such a beautiful dungeon kinda setting that you fall in love with the place instantly.... More

Cool cavernous interior. Kind of a strange menu though (all cheese, and I like cheese, but still). Felt like a tourist-oriented gimmick. Wasn't bad, but just wasn't special at all. Definitely wouldn't go back, there's just too many good restaurants in Nice.
