We had three starter, a soup, slow cooked egg and pâté en croute followed by two mains, sea bass and...lamb and then a dessert of chestnut pie with ice cream. It was delicious. There is no star restaurant in Vielle Ville in Nice. But tjis is so close. Choose the men. It is so well priced. Food is very or equal to the 1 stars of the torn. But the prices are so much better. Friendly and attentive...staff. Goodchoice of wines and at resonable prices. I will come back, agsin and again. Treat yourselves to a finedining evening at reasonable prices. Very good.More

Nice place and nice food but a little heavy. Got the lamb and also think it would have been better without the beans, too old school.

The food was really great and the staff was friendly. Regarding my taste, I do believe that the lamb (see attached photos) could be coupled up with a better side dish, as the beans were not the best choice. This does not mean that I...did not enjoy the food, it just means that I would have preferred a different side dish :)More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and made the reservation for us. We had wanted to have dinner but one must have reservations at least a week or two in advance. We went for three course menu… Gaspacho was very nice. My wife had white beans with chorizo which ok but not excellent. Mains were ok but not standing out. Deserts were guite nice.

The best fine dining in vielle ville Nice, and at reasonable prices. The menu degustation is a steal and always highly creative and excellent. And of course good and highly trained service staff. A must each time your in Nice old town.

The last review says it all. I’ve never had a dinner so slow, nor spent three hours in a two star, and the food was underwhelming. Twice I had to tell them to pick up the pace. So slow I almost paid and walked out...before dessert. Angry by the end as the last reviewer said because of the slowness. I think it was the kitchen’s fault. Too much before the first course. Two x four chefs folly starters, then finally the first course. Yes, the lobster was tough. We had the five course menu.More

See the title as nothing more to add. This is a perfect place in Old Nice. And the price are very reasonable. Will go back for sure.

Our 4th visit to this gem of a restaurant in Nice but the first visit post Covid. Tiny restaurant to enable the chef to create exceptional quality seasonal dishes. Champagne aperitif, taster menu with cheese course added, bottle of white wine, glass of red and...liquor coffee to finish. The complimentary olive marmalade and salt crackers were absolutely delicious. I would love the recipe! Don’t try turning up without a reservation as you will be very disappointed. The more notice you give the better your chance of a table. I cannot wait to return!More

It was great to revisit after an over long absence due to Covid. The restaurant retains its buzzy ambience, and the food is excellent. Service was excellent being both friendly and helpful. The food is well prepared and presented, the main courses were especially tasty...and the portions were most generous. Definetely on our list to revisit when we next return to Nice.More
