It’s lost a bit of the innovation it had four/five years ago. We always book here when in Nice and started with foie gras and a salmon gravlax. Both delicious. The mains we chose were fish and then mini madeleines with a caramel sauce, last time we had lemon and a raspberry sauce as well, it needed sharper sauces than caramel. Also had the lemon meringue pie but the pastry was very thick and very hard to break. We ordered a half bottle of Sancerre and then asked for a sweet Sauternes with the dessert and got a dry wine! Shame! Cocktail to start was raspberry with Prosecco.
A little disappointed as we rate this restaurant highly normally. Hopefully, it will be better next time.

I come to Nice annually and always make sure I eat here.
The menu features fresh ingredients, the waiters are polite and helpful (will translate French into English with a smile). The whole grain bread with pistachios is wonderful. There were five of us and we all had something different from fish to risotto and everyone was very pleased with their selection.
you don't get rushed even though it is a small space.

What a charming evening with great service and the most tasteful and really delicious cooking we have had in Nice after visiting the city every month since this summer. And that the chef Thomas Hubert cooked for us a menu of surprise - with handpicked wine to every dish - was something really special. Thank you!

This place made a real effort for valentine's weekend. I just found that the food was quite overpriced for the quality. I ordered the beef and asked for medium but both myself and my partner got the same beef which was quite rare and chewy. My partner said his plate was quite cold. I personally don't think our bill qarrantes the quality.

Our 4th visit to this gem of a restaurant in Nice but the first visit post Covid.
Tiny restaurant to enable the chef to create exceptional quality seasonal dishes.
Champagne aperitif, taster menu with cheese course added, bottle of white wine, glass of red and liquor coffee to finish.
The complimentary olive marmalade and salt crackers were absolutely delicious. I would love the recipe!
Don’t try turning up without a reservation as you will be very disappointed. The more notice you give the better your chance of a table.
I cannot wait to return!

Excellent food, interesting culinary research for some dishes, from the initial tapenade to the desert.
The wine list is thoroughly built; the prosecco was excellent (Riondo, Spago Nero).
The atmosphere is cosy, with a couple of tables outside is the tiny old town street, and the tables inside overlooking the kitchen.
The service is attentive (e.g., they cooled down the glass with ice just before serving the prosecco).
The best restaurant I've been to in Nice so far :)

We booked ( a must as 13 couples were turned away as it was fully booked) and chose the tasting menu chosen by the chef. We had three starter, a soup, slow cooked egg and pâté en croute followed by two mains, sea bass and lamb and then a dessert of chestnut pie with ice cream. It was delicious.
We’ve been coming two or three times a year since it opened and it never disappoints.

This ended up being our favourite restaurant during our stay in Nice. We had a lovely night. Food was amazing, service was good. We were seated close to the kitchen, which I like, because I enjoy watching the cooks at work. We were able to taste the local Bellet wine which, surprisingly enough, many places didn't seem to carry. It wasn't a cheap night eating out, but it was def worth it. It is quite a small place, so I definitely recommend a reservation. Highly recommend.

Following the recommendation made to us by a business friend from the old town, we had reserved a table last night October 31, 2024.
We were seated on the high table near the front door and the menu presented to us gave us hope for some nice treats .. two "menu" formulas are offered outside the menu and we chose two salmon gravlax, a tuna tataki in "flat" version which inflicted us an extra 3€ but the portion remained "light" and a poultry...
After each dish, our appreciation was legitimately asked of us and as always with frankness and honesty, we just clarified that everything we tasted was good but seriously lacked seasoning and taste...
it was really too bland for quality products but the waiter replied: "but Sir, we do not please everyone" 😳which shocked us 🤨and it would have been better to tell us that he took note of our remark and that he would forward the information to the Chef who was not very far away and recognizable by the voice of Stentor.
So stay tuned to the comments that are made out of pure kindness for the sole purpose of advancing yourself and show more courtesy to those who do.
Good hearing...
Regards, Olivier B Captain

The food was fresh, tasty and creative, and portion sizes plentiful. Service was warm, attentive and helpful. The wine recommendation was perfect for our choices. We especially loved that they had daily specials, and the food was not rushed. We had a lovely relaxed evening and a delicious dinner.

Great price on a five course tasting menu. Each course was a winner from soup to the chocolate lava cake. The lobster dish was my favorite and the lamb a close second. We also did the wine pairing which was just the right amount of wine, it enhanced the food without leaving you tipsy. Great service. Very crowded, must get a reservation.

Highly popular among the local community, O&A never disappoints its visitors.
Dishes are tasty and well crafted. Service is attentive and friendly and, in spite of its tinyness, the dining room is rather inviting and confortable.

I don't know who leaves rave reviews.
Disgusting impressions and wasted money!
I made reservations for my husband and I three weeks in advance! All adjacent dates were already taken.
Waiting for this evening ... came, we were given a menu ... and it turned out to be completely different, not like what we looked at in advance on the site or even on the pictures in the visitors' reviews.
The choice and the dishes were bad. We took each set for 39 euros plus a bottle of wine (the same price). In my set there was a very strange salad of (attention) watermelon, olives, cherry, nuts and ruccola and the second course - the worst risotto. I love risotto and I eat it in any form, but here it was dry, despite the supposed meat soup infused with this risotto, on top of it were the same dry courgettes... what? courgettes?... I never tasted so bad!
My husband had the same salad and stewed meat, half of which had to be thrown away because it was a piece of fat.
Incidentally, other customers also had a lot of that fat left in their plates when the waiters took the plates away.
Well, and the most important thing - chefs cook in front of you without gloves and headgear, constantly eating something, and also wiping sweat with a towel lying on your shoulder, then with the same bare hand put something in your plate.
HORROR!!!
This is not a purchased review, see my photos - we were there on August 02, the photos are real and even beautiful, which is not the case with the taste and feel of everything in this restaurant.
Don't go there, there are more cozy and delicious restaurants in Nice.

We have no complaints about the quality of the three courses of food we were served. However, our server delivered our check to our table while we were still eating dessert. We never requested the check and we have been coming to France a couple times a year for about 35 years and this was the first and only time that a check has ever been delivered to our table while we are still eating or before we asked for it. To make matters worse, the same server came to our table a few minutes later with the credit card machine (we were still eating) and turned around and walked away. After we finished dessert, she showed up again immediately with the machine. We still had about a quarter of our bottle of wine left to drink. About 10 minutes later she showed up again and I finally asked her if there was some problem with us finishing our wine. As soon as we did finish (less than 2 hours from our arrival) I asked her to pay the bill. She took my card and processed it and never spoke to me or offered a receipt and just walked away. We have never had an experience like this in the hundreds of restaurants we have eaten in throughout France. I don’t know whether our server was having a bad night, but this is not a restaurant I would recommend given the multitude of other excellent choices available in Nice.

It was great to revisit after an over long absence due to Covid. The restaurant retains its buzzy ambience, and the food is excellent. Service was excellent being both friendly and helpful. The food is well prepared and presented, the main courses were especially tasty and the portions were most generous.
Definetely on our list to revisit when we next return to Nice.
