An excellent experience, with good food, nice service and nice location. The portions are big; if you order a menu, be aware that it is a lot of food for a dinner.

Food fine. We had nine dishes, mix of hot and cold mezze. All vegetarian so where the no vegetarian review comes from mystifies me. The have assiette vegetarienne on their menu! Service pleasant enough. Food was not exceptional, but pleasant and reasonable value

After a few days of French food, we craved for some ethnic food and decided to try the so called best libanese in town. We are fanatic about Libanese food and have been blessed to eat it in many different places. This experience was unfortunately one of the least successful experiences. The mezze's were okay'ish, but the mains are definitely... More

We stopped in on a Sunday for a lunch before training back to Paris. We eyed several plates advertised on the blackboard out front, but once we sat down we were told that those plates were only available on weekdays. --- So why are they on the blackboard on a Sunday? Bate and switch; laziness, your guess is as good... More

We came here looking for vegetarian options and the staff would rudely point at the menu to tell us vegetarian dishes are only available at lunch time Monday to Friday. Instead of recommending us anything from the menu (e.g. vegetarian mezze) they would just let us sit there and not serve us. So we left! Worst service ever! Can't say... More

Goiod and high variety of food. You are forced to consume and to buy a beberage instaead of tap water. Good portions, nothing fancy. Arabic origin service expect the men to order gthe food and would not ask women on the party.

Found this place just around the corner from our hotel and we were so glad! The food here is absolutely divine, it is seriously fantastic Lebanese/mediterranean quisine and we were thoroughly impressed. Service is also quite good and the staff are nice and friendly. We were allost shocked at how well priced this place is as we would have been... More

If you like Lebanese cuisine, this place matches the savors of fresh local Nicoise produce with Middle Eastern style. Excellent foule, tabouli, and falafel. Service is typically French: Slow. The location in the Notre Dame is wonderful any time of day.

The ambience of the place is nice, decor is more Moroccan to me than Lebanese. It is nice decor. The food was very nice and meat is halal. For starter I recommend matallab (eggplant purée ) For main course - go for a lamb kabab meal - the first in the Grills section of the menu. I do not recommend... More

If you like Lebanese food, or nearly any kind of Lebanese food, visit La Socrate. The location is tucked away next to a church on the pedestrian shopping zone of Avenue Jean Medecin. Although only 50 feet from the street, it was quiet enough to realle enjoy the moment and the conversation. We ordered a menu that offers about eight... More
