This is a good mid-range restaurant, with nice atmosphere on the terrace and very nice service. The waiters are friendly and helpful. Food is quite OK. I had a hamburger while my wife had moules marinière. Both good. Wine recommendation was good - a bottle...of Provence rosé over 30 euros. A bit expensive for the wine - would like to have a choice of a house wine - as in the region this is a bit expensive for entry level wine, even though the quality was very good. Fondant au chocolat for two for desert - perfect - with a little limoncello offered with the bill.More

The service was excellent, waiters were extremely polite, they take care of everything and overall provide you with a great experience. Located in the centre of Nice, it offers a comfortable place to have lunch and/or drinks at. Prices may be a little higher than...the average restaurants, but the food was great.More

Thought we’d have drinks and food whilst watching match. Big mistake. Beef chewy, pasta tasteless and burger flavourless. Would not recommend - expensive compared to other restaurants we tried in the same vicinity which were far superior.

We were tempted in by a nice man on the door, staff spoke English very well and were friendly. I chose a cheese omelette with chips and my husband the lamb special. Both portion sizes were very big. Although the cheese was in the omelette...it didn’t have a strong flavour. The lamb was ordered medium and arrived medium rare. However, it was lamb chops and the medium rare cooking meant that some of the fat was not sufficiently cooked. We often chose a 50cl carafe of rose as we found that to be good value and we did the same here. Overall a good meal, fair pricing and large portion sizes.More

There is a large undercover seating area outside with heating. We chose to eat inside away from any would-be smokers and were cosy and comfortable. There is an interesting display of rugby shirts and memorabilia, and up the staircase are a row of chairs covered...in rugby shirts which are definitely a good topic of conversation. Food is served from 12 noon to 23.30 with a good choice on the menu and very generous portions. I wanted a light lunch so chose a ham and cheese omelette, it was massive, with lots of ham and cheese and accompanied by a huge salad - so much for a light lunch – but it was delicious. My husband had the Gigot D’Agneau (a huge lamb steak with frites and salad, cooked to perfection and very tasty. With two glasses of good red wine the bill was less than 40 Euros – Terrific value for money. The service is excellent with friendly staff and we will definitely call again on our next trip to Nice.More

Had an early dnner with my fiance here and we had a fantastic time. He had the steak frites and I had the moulet et frites, and it was delicious. The moulet is very huge and we couldnt finish it, so try ordering it and...sharing with someone! So deliicous, great location too, nice for people watching on the patio. Cocktails are also good, I had an aperol spritz and it was delicious.More

Had lunch there a couple of days ago. My friend and I spotted this restaurant just by chance as we strolled along the Rue Massena. As we fancied fish and saw that the plat du jour was Filet de Daurade we sat down outside on...the shady terrace. The meal was excellent and the fish well presented and delicious. We had a 50cl bottle of very good Magali rosé wine and as a dessert the very competent waiter proposed we try their crepes - a good choice. The total bill was 65 Euros which was good value. Will certainly drop by next time I'm in Nice.More
