This is a very popular quick eat place with a long winding queue all day long. Which is a mystery considering the food they serve. The assiette niçoise was an ok mix of local specialities but nothing too memorable, and the heating in the microwave oven was very uneven so some of the food was cold. But the disaster was... More

Visited this place in early July. I ordered the moules fries (muscles) and my husband ordered the chicken and chips. Chicken and chips were basic fair. This is not gourmet food people. My muscles were a disappointment. The flavor of the sauce was awesome but it was beyond obvious that they had been pre heated. I could have forgiven the... More

Went here for a casual late lunch and was not disappointed with a big serving of modules frites for only 8.50 euros. Sat outside on the benches and was pleasantly surprised by this place. Friendly staff and food arrives quickly. Would recommend

We'd hoped we get a bit of authentic Nice Street food or bits and pieces, which we did, but it's a shame that the food is just reheated, which when most of it was battered, made it a bit soggy and disappointing. I'm sure it would have been nice when cooked fresh, but microwaved to warm it up just made... More

Unpretentious local corner eatery so popular - there is always a line of locals and tourists alike ordering their food. The line runs fast and the food is well worth the short wait and a few euros - all of the dishes and wine are very inexpensive. We went back a couple of times to get the taste of a... More

This place had the best socca in Nice. It was crispy and big enough for two. We came here for lunch and even dinner. We loved their communal tables too!!

First of all, I love socca, so liking this place was easy. It's a busy hub of activity with people dropping in for snacks and complete meals. It's fast, delicious, and not expensive. You'll have to overcome any shyness to elbow up to the counter to order and then to find a table, but it will be completely worth it.

Local eatery serving classic local food. We tried the socca (chickpea flour pancake), farcis (vegetables stuffed with minced lamb) and courgette & aubergine bagnat all washed down with local rosé wine and kronenberg beer. Prices start at €3. Definitely not high end catering but delicious & a hit with locals & tourists alike. Don't worry about the queues, it's worth... More

Dreamed for a year about a tasty bite of socca and a few little meat filled veggie snacks. Accompanied by a draft beer on a spring day, sitting outside at the tables perfect for people watching--this spot is my preferred go-to in Nice as I walk around window shopping (and more!) in old town.

Had an assortment of Nicoise tarts (pissaladiere, tarte aux blettes) and stuffed veggies which were all average. The great thing about this location is sitting outside in the bustling atmosphere.
