This spectacular chateau hotel and restaurant has a small bar terrace (dozen seats) with a million-dollar view, making the price of the icy, tall Coke a real bargain! And they give you a small tray of snacks, gratis. Friendly, attentive, multi-lingual staff too. Next time, I think I'll try dinner at the restaurant, which is said to be excellent.

Each year we holiday in Villefranche-Sur-Mer, and now we have an additional custom, a dinner at the renowned Chateau Eza. Perched high on the Cote D Zur this outstanding medieval town, is home to one of the best culinary delights on the Riviera. Muster the strength (its a long climb to the restaurant) and the cash and take in this... More

The best culinary experience we had our entire time in France. It took traditional fare and reimagined it. The food was filling but not heavy and the service was impeccable. The view helped a little as well.

The location was unbelievable. I have never eaten in a better location. The food was good. Not amazing. The scampi was about too citrusy. The lobster was a bit sweet. The desserts were some of the best ever.

Firstly can I say that I have not stayed or eaten in this hotel, we simply stopped there for a drink, while exploring Eze village. We passed through some lovely rooms to get to a balcony overlooking the bay. The views from there are simply breathtaking! However, we paid €30 for the worst gin & tonic I've ever had, &... More

Went to this restaurant during Grand prix weekend in May 2016. Sat on the balcony, very steep looking down to the water. Amazing view and food! Definitely one of the best experiences I have had in terms of food!

I can not speak highly enough of this restaurant - absolutely amazing views, an intimate, ambient setting, excellent food and wine list and perfect service throughout the evening (attentive but relaxed and not too pretentious). The warm balmy weather was ideal for enjoying an aperitif on the terrace. I had booked well in advance, from Australia, and possibly because of... More

At 4pm on a fabulous August day we dined on the terrace and enjoyed the tapas. Three (very mini) hamburgers with excellent chips (€20) were good but the salty prosciutto on mini Baguettes (€18) were less successful. Would try one of the the set menus next time in the beautiful restaurant which look like good value at €52 and €62.... More

We stayed here for one night in July. They did everything they could to make the stay extra special. The view is spectacular and that alone is a reason why you should stay here. We had the degustation menu at the restaurant. The food was lovely, but again, it was the view, service and atmosphere that truly makes this experience... More
