Had lunch at La Bourride in November, exquisite setting in the fishing harbour of Cagnes sur Mer. We were blessed by the beautiful weather and sat outside. Food fantastic, service superb, welcome was warm, this is a "must visit" restaurant.

We drove down for dinner while staying in Vence. We won't go back. There were only three other couples so very little atmosphere at what should be the high season. Everyone else was middle aged and rather dull. The restaurant feels very 1970s and the menu is just as dated. The maitre d' appeared to bully and harangue his assistant... More

We had lunch with friends today on the terrace overlooking the fishermens harbour. Beautiful filled fleur de courgette, entry with noix st Jacques as a carpaccio but not too thin and excellent freshness. Main with tagionili Homard and noix St Jaques. Desert Feuillete and fresh fruits. All excellent taste and plating. Service correct. To recommand. Ingrid LIchtveld Le Mas Shabanou

Traditional French restaurant in many respects with well spaced tables, white linen, first class service. Menu is obviously fish based but with meat alternatives for those preferring that option. Interesting , well chosen wine list with some single glass alternatives such as a decent Sauternes with the foie gras. Food is professionally delivered from kitchen to table. Prices are highish... Four of us had a most excellent meal here! Service was gracious and very helpful. Food was refined and very well presented. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an upscale evening!

After holidaying in Corsica we had decided to spend a couple of nights in Cagnes before tackling the long drive home. Although the end of September the day time temperatures were still very high and so we booked a table on the terrace for our evening meal. However when we arrived at the restaurant at 8.00pm the temperatures had plummeted... More

I can think of no reason to ever go to this restaurant again.. The establishment came highly recommended by our local French host, who had not gone with us, but we had to wait, quite literally, 45 minutes for someone to even approach our table with menus or water. Because the setting was lovely, I relaxed my usual standards of... More

La Bourride overlooks the old port & there are attractive views out to sea & across the bay to Antibes. Unfortunately it was too windy to sit outside on the pretty terraced area, but there is an equally attractive internal courtyard & the dining room is very spacious. On a blustery Monday night it was rather quiet hence lacking atmosphere,... More

The food was not bed but far for being very good. It seems that the restaurant is living from a past reputation. Very expensive for what it offers! To cut it short, an address to avoid.

My husband and I have been making an annual twice a year pilgrimage to this beautiful restaurant at the small harbour in Cagnes -sue-Mer and for the first time we have left without that spring in our step .... .. Something was just not right Our waiter was just too too smart ... We ordered by name a good bottle... More
