Not fancy but very friendly and well priced. Sit outside or in--service can be slow so take your time. One night we had pizza which was very good. Split a pie for sure. The second night we had Paella--a giant sized portion filled to the brim with local seafood, rice, a bit of chicken, sausage and more. A nice bottle... More

No point in following your other English reviewers that have got this place absolutely right except to say that my pizza and my wife's fish were both spot on. Let us remind ourselves that Beaulieu is a top end Riviera town and to add wine and coffee to the above and have change from 40 euros is a bonus.

We dined on a busy night and were lucky to get a table outside. Service was a bit patchy but the food was good. My roast chicken was one of the nicest I've had. The other meal was mussels which was a bit fiddly but tasty. A pichet of white house wine completed our meal as we had no room... More

Great Food Great House Wine Great Value Great Staff. For the price I would say its the best in the area. Yes it doesn't have the best views (a road and a railway bridge) but for a quick bite of dinner it ticks all of my box's.

We always visit Le catalan when holidaying in Beaulieu. It is warm and friendly and the food is always of the highest quality. Its nice to sit outside but a drawback are the "SMOKERS" they really spoil the experience I hope we didn't spoil their experience by eating whilst they smoked.

Ate here once, but was not impressed with the food. The pasta dish was nothing special. However, the atmosphere was very pleasant, and the young lady who served us was very knowledgeable and quick.

We ate here twice during our five nights in Beaulieu Sur Mer. Not fine dining, but very good local food. Portions are large, probably large enough to share, and the house wine is good making this an excellent mid-priced selection.

We arrived and sat outside, where we were shown the menu board. We started fir 20 minutes and no one came, we then went inside to try and get an order, we got some wine, the wrong wine was delivered. We then waited another 20 minutes, still no service, gave up and walked out. Have been coming here for years.... More

the welcome was not very friendly and at first it was implied that we were an inconvenience. Ordered moules and frites which were average - service did get better but was not a highlight of our visit
