Food and service very good. Reasonably priced. Very close to the Palais des Papes. Made us and our dog welcome. Didn't feel rushed even though busy.

...at the Hotel we stayed at. Pretty good food all round. We drank house wine - red good, white insipid. Bull stew was very nice - at least 4 of us ate that and it was very filling.

Other than the onion soup, the food was terrible. I had the duck which was very greasy and topped with a huge mound of potatoes to cover the bad quality. The owner/manager was a combination of rude, grumpy and arrogant. Avoid this place other than for a drink at night.

We visited the palace of the popes today and came across this quaint little restaurant! Nicely set up in the gardens we enjoyed cold beers and escargot! Super yummy! Kind of slow service but we wanted a break from sight seeing so we enjoyed it!

We visited this restaurant twice while on holiday in Avignon and for the life of me, I cant explain why we went back the second time. On our first visit, we were grunted at on arrival by a grumpy, French waiter. Accustomed to the usual "Welcome to the restaurant, let me find you a table" in London, we were rather... More

Stopped by for an early dinner with 2 kids in tow. Staff were very friendly and food was good plus excellent ice creams.

A restaurant for tourists near the palace. You cannot expect anything rare. Food on the average side - will not go back if in the area. Pasta w/o flavor, meat ok, fish good...don't hold your breath.

I came upon Le Lutrin as I was walking to the Palais de la Papes. It is also close to the Avignon Opera House. My first meal was lunch, and I had the Beef Bourguignon. The meat was so rich and flavourful, and the presentation was lovely. I enjoyed my meal so much that I returned for dinner and had... More
