What wonderful food. Quite a small restaurant - counted 26 covers. Greeted by Antonia and shown to our reserved table. Lots of room around the tables so very comfortable. Selected a Cotes du Rhone White; Antonia knew the vineyard that had produced what turned out to be a by nice wine. Made our choices from a quite small but interesting... More

Fantastic traditional French food in the centre of Avignon. Extremely attentive and friendly service from start to finish in an intimate setting. Would highly recommend.

The vibe is just as important as the meal. We were made to feel at home and special guests in a small, intimate space. The four of us felt pains were taken to ensure our night was perfect. The food... We all had the pastry parcels with jambon, fromage, and onion jam for entree. Simple and perfect. Chicken dishes and... More

You need to make reservations. I had a cod with potatoes and my hubby had duck breast with strawberry sauce. We had both had Crème brûlée. The best Crème brûlée I have had in my life. Order Crème brûlée!

Pre booked this restaurant before we left Australia based on trip advisor reviews and we were not disappointed, ambience of the place was most welcoming and teamed with lovely staff and great food was one of the best eating experiences we had in France.

As scored #1 in Avignon, I also booked table for us (two persons). That was a good choise. Absolutely excellent service, and food was delicious. We both took salmon carpaccio as a starter. She needs to have gluten-free meals. That was not an issue at all. She got gluten-free version (no soya sauce). As a main course, I took duck.... More

The restaurant is small, but very well managed. A nice couple: she serves, he cooks. The atmosphere is very peaceful and there are not many tables, so your intimacy is preserved .The hostess is very attentive and pleasant. The food is impeccably prepared and served. A very nice address during the Festival, like a peaceful and succulent oasis.

The food was fabulous, with good use of herbs. Everything extremely fresh. The wife, who waits tables, is charming and attentive to every guest and their needs. The husband/chef is a master. The main dishes are excellent but what really struck me were the sides- black rice with ripe olives and sun dried tomatoes... and homemade olive jam with the... More

My husband and I were in Avignon for our fiftieth wedding anniversary. The city is brimming over with restaurants of all sorts, but we lucked into a special dinner at Fou de Fafa. The food and service were both exceptional. There is an English menu, which helped us enormously. We ordered from the menu of the day, which included an... More
