Very disappointing. The fish was under cooked and with no salt. There was just one gentleman that - although very dedicated - was only one for all the tables! The cheese was not fresh and neither the starter. My husband was luckier than I and liked the pigeon. But overall we were very disappointed.

One of the few starred restaurants we hadn't visited in the region. A very disappointing experience it was: very hard to find (ok if compensated by excellent food, quod non), uninspired decoration & ambiance, mediocre food, expensive wines (3 to 3.5 x purchase price). The best part was dessert, but that was so overwhelming that the whole evening became unbalanced.... More

Each plate was a small work of art, and the portions were large. I was very glad that we only ordered the 5-course menu, rather than 8. As wonderful as each bite was, eight courses would have been much too much for us, and it would have been a shame to leave any of them uneaten. The prices, both food... More

We dined here with the tour group Off the Beaten Path, and the food was fantastic! It was a true sense experience from the appetizer to the dessert. The chef is a young, creative man who is doing his own thing. His version of the typical appetizer of foie gras was out of this world. Many diners at the table... More

Our dinner at Le Diapason was excellent from start to finish. We had mussels with chorizo and celery, followed by fried foie gras topped with a delicious sauce and candied almonds (with small clouds of amaretto and of eggplant mousse), cod in a cress sauce and a dessert consisting of a ball of dark chocolate containing vanilla ice cream and... We have visited this restaurant each time we go to France. We look forward to the surprises each visit brings. The lobster is wonderful and the chef prepares it so we can share. The desserts are creations of art. We have always had good service and speak both French and English with the staff. The location is off the tourist... More

I was very disappointed with our dining experience tonight. We took the menu for 55 euro and the food and ambiance was fantastic. BUT one of your waiters brought cheese selection to our table after the main course and advised us that they are included in our menu. We were surprised and double checked with him that we understood correctly.... More

The four of us had the quite expensive 8-course meal; all at the table must order it which is understandable, considering the order of presentation at a table. Our waiter spoke English with an extremely heavy accent, and either did not know the English words for some of the ingredients or had such a problem with pronunciation that we could... More
