We had a great dinner here in Avignon. The staff was very kind to us with our poor French, the food was fresh and interesting.

I would recommend against this restaurant for anyone visiting Avignon. All four guests in our party found our food very disappointing (worst we have had in France, actually). Service was unpleasant and uninterested, but not completely terrible.

Located in the very typical and famous rue des Teinturiers, this restaurant is the perfect setting to enjoy the historical atmosphere of the city in refreshing surroundings. Good food served by a very nice, helpful and efficient team!

The staff were exceptional and the food was great. I'm sure it's quite busy during the high tourist season but it is well worth it. The location is superb. We will return before we leave.

We ordered from the blackboard outside , the waitress misunderstood completely our order and served the wrong food to each of us, one of our party was then not able to eat the food proffered ( not ordered) Left us disappointed as we chose our restaurant by the choice of food we wanted. The waitress was apologetic and the uneaten... More

We ate at this restaurant on the recommendation of the owner of the apartment we rented. It was very good - the burgers are what they are best known for and don't disappoint! The dinner menu was a little less attractive and the sea bass I had was not very good but overall it is worth checking out.

After several days of indifferent food in some of the "tourist trap" restaurants in Avignon's main squares (not what we were expecting in Provence!) we finally came upon this little gem in an historic street just a short distance from where we were staying. As non-meat eaters we were aware that our choices might be limited, but we found something... More

I wasn't sure what to expect as I knew that if you wanted great food you have to stay away from the normal tourist restaurants. Anyway we were in a side street with loads of locals and the restaurant and food looked good. The restaurant had a Trip Advisor award. We gave the restaurant a chance and we had the... More

Staff were friendly, they always approached us with a smile. We waited a long time for our food though which was a downer, but once the food came, I forgot about the long wait. Good portions, I ordered the Zinzolin burger since I'm a huge burger lover. Was delicious even though it lacked salt in my opinion. What I loved... More

A little bit away from the touristic centre square of Avignon is the rue des Teinturiers. A string of small restaurants and bars with Le Zinzolin almost at the end. We had heard about the place and decided to have lunch there. A very nice experience; friendly and correct service on a small terrace full of local French people. We... More
