Small but excellent menu at a very reasonable price which catered for all tastes, the service was superb and the food though simple was prepared to the highest standards which allowed the flavours shine through

Like many who have reviewed previously, we stumbled upon this small restaurant. Limited but varied menu which catered for Vegans and non-meat eaters as well as carnivores. Food and service was excellent. No buts.

This small restaurant is on a quiet street and we ate outside on the terrace behind an ornamental planter. The service was very attentive and polite. The politest I have encountered in France. The food was outstanding and well presented. Loved the evening here.

We stumbled across this place while exploring the streets of Avignon. It was full of people that seemed to be local. We gave it a try and we were treated beyond expectations. We loved the lamb; they are know for this dish. The chocolate pear in a spiced wine (desert) was divine. Highly recommended!

this restaurant is quite near the Place de l'Horloge and the Papal Palace. there are menus at 28 and 42 euros with just a few choices. the meal began with a little amuse-bouche of goat cheese olive tapenade and tomato. I recommend the Laudun white wine brotte available in 50 cl bottles. The main course of crusted cod and 9... More

Out of season but recommended by TA we took a chance on getting in here. No problem, we and another two diners (which made the restaurant a little subdued) the food however was great, simple, tasty, good home style cooking. By the time we had got the dessert the restaurant was 80% full, which produced a better vibe. Not hesitation... More

We loved this restaurant so much that we went twice. It is an unassuming little place behind the opera theatre. The decor is plain and perhaps could be a little warmer but the food is delicious. We loved everything that we had. It is very much Provençal with delicious small but tasty courses. The service was excellent by the partner... More

Myself, my g/f, my dad and his cousin were on France shopping for wines for our wholesale business. We have visited many vineyards in the area and also in southern France. One way home we have stopped in Avignon for overnight and were looking for a place to eat. We found this little restaurant with family like atmosphere. The food... More

The restaurant, recommended by friends, was a delight. The food had a simplicity and depth in its flavours and style. Superb "fish stew" was rich and intense and the "apricot cake" was perfect for a hot evening. The cheese plate was interesting too with fresh soft cheeses for Summer. The wine list had a good selection of local Rhone wines... More

On our last night in Avignon, three friends and I had dinner at this delightful restaurant. It had been recommended by other friends but that's no guarantee. However, their judgment was spot-on. The menu, although limited, provides enough choice to please most palates, and the food more than lived up to expectations. Scallop carpaccio was light and delicious, leaving room... More
