This restaurant has a typical Provençale menu. Limited to a choice of 4 dishes at entrée and main course. The food is excellent and the service as well. Also the atmosphere is Provencale. Located right in the middle of the antiquities of Arles.

Good Provencal food and wine. Staffs speak English. I had the bull stew which was very tender and flavorful. The chocolate mousse was abit too sweet for my liking.

Tasty food and lovely staff! Reasonably priced and nice sized portions. I love the decore, very understated and authentic with exposed brick work. Had a very magical element to it, book in advance as it's a cosy place!

We picked this place as we were wandering around the streets in the evening, as it looked interesting. The place seemed quiet at the time, but it filled very quickly once we sat down. We sat upstairs, which was ok - but the stairs are steep. The menu was simple, but interesting. Our meals were beautifully cooked and presented. The... More

We got caught in a sudden downpour; ran down the short street and dove into Le Criquet. We were pretty wet, but those that sloshed in after us were soaked through. The young ladies welcomed everyone sympathetically, providing towels to the worst victims. The chef must have known of the rain. He had prepared a soup starter to warm and... More

Small welcoming restaurant - I was solo and they happily accommodated me. Beautifully prepared and presented food as a bargain price for the quality and ambience. Conveniently located near the Arena

Our hotel recommended this place and although all our 5 restaurants were really good, this was the best. Very interesting layout, excellent food, reservations required, great service, great wine list.

We were looking for a traditional Arlesian restaurant. We chose it mainly because it was the most charming of the three or four we found, but the food turned out to be delicious. We each had a pastis for an apertif which I loved. My husband and some really nicely done lamb and I ordered the baked cod which came... More

Lovely little restaurant but you do need to book as it filled up fast. Meals were delicious. Service was great. Wine was very good.

Tonight we had a fantastic dinner at Le Criquet in Arles, a wonderful welcoming restaurant full of regional character ! The service was excellent, the staff were very knowledgeable of the menu and accompanying wines. The food was beautiful- a cauliflower cream soup, followed by a perfectly cooked rack of lamb with grilled seasonal vegetables and an aioli mayonnaise. One... More
