Tucked away off the main tourist streets - this was a really delight. Fresh and airy surroundings with friendly staff. The lunch was fresh, delicious and unpretentious. (And reasonably priced!) My partner grew up in the region and he was very impressed. Look forward to returning.

Everyone told us this was a great place to eat. We booked a weekend evening - booking is a must. Its small and friendly. The service was good. The food was excellent. Hard to fault. Definitely a place to visit again next time we are in Arles. Specialise in Provencale food. A limited menu, but covered a range of meat,... More

Nice food; I picked the fish soup as starter, super yum yet not heavy; lamb rack for main course - yum sauce to go with it. Dessert choices I picked the chocolat mousse; probably Salade de fruit was a lighter choice to go with the red meat dish; but the choc mousse looks pretty and yum too:-)

From the lovely Provencal setting to the delicious food, this was easily our best meal in Arles. I especially recommend the lamb, it was outstanding! Heads up: this place is small, so a reservation and/or eating early is essential.

Normally when on vacation we like to try different restaurants; however, in the case of Le Criquet, we had to come back for more! Both meals were fabulous! We had completely different meals each night and they were excellent. The two sisters who serve were lovely and attentive. This is surely a gem in Arles.

I have been monitoring customer comments for 8 months. I dutifully reserved my table yesterday and I got my preferred 7pm seating. The 2 of us ordered/shared an entree of mackerel with roast peppers, 2 mains consisting of bourride, lamb quarter and for dessert, tarte citron meringue with a marvellous addition of mint leaves. Service was prompt and all dishes... More

Brilliant dishes ever I booked a table for tomorrow lunch as soon as I finished my dinner tonight. I want to stay in Arles more because of this restaurant!

As unrepentant foodies, it is not easy to impress us but we were all wowed by our meal here. All of the plates were well prepared and the accompanying vegetables and herbs perfectly fresh. I will long remember the octopus appetizer garnished with slivered radish and lemon basil.

The good ratings are merited. We enjoyed regional food that was promptly served in a bright alley on a hot June evening. Some confusion about opening days because it said here closed on the day we chose but saw it open. Pity we missed a second occasion.

We came to know if this place from trip advisor and it did not disappoint. Food and service were excellent. If you get a chance to book I recommend doing so, as our first walk in they were full.
