I'm not sure why this restaurant has gotten such bad reviews. We ate here twice and found the food to be hearty and the service was fast. We found all of the Plat du jour to be good, but we especially liked the salmon. The mussels were quite tasty as well. The first night we ate early and didn't have... More

Some of the worst food imaginable. Nothing about this place is authentic and the food has no soul. You might as well lick the dirt off underneath your shoes as it probably has more going for it than this place.

I had steamed mussels 2 night a go at next restaurant. That was so good. A lot of mussels meat were big and a lot of them. The sauce was so delicious. But we ate there 2 nights in roll, so we tried change to this restaurant. I am very disappointed their baked mussels dish. Breadcrumb was covered 2time of... More

nice open air restaurant in the square where Van Gogh did one of his very famous paintings. Waiter was very patient with us as we did not speak French. Service was very good. Food is prepared in a shop facing the square and delivered to your table warm and savory.

We did not check reviews for this place before we had lunch here, and it was terrible. I ordered the French Onion Soup and I didn't eat it. It was thick and gelatinous with no flavor. I ate the cheesy toast on top and otherwise left hungry. Pasta Carbonara sauce was flavorless and also barely eaten. There are several places... More

We had lunch here on an unseasonably warm Saturday afternoon in early April. It was pleasant to eat outdoors under the umbrellas. The place was very crowded and there was only 1 or 2 servers, but we were served in a reasonable amount of times. We all, ordered local salads (Nicoise, Arlesienne) and they were fine. The tables were close... More

We wanted paella without a fuss, this was our choice. Cute, outdoors, nice service. Food comes over from pizza parlor across the street. Pamela was tasty, fair amounts of seafood.

Food was acceptable, but service and attitude was very poor. I regretted not spending a bit more for just about any other restaurant in the area they service. I asked for butter with the bread and they brought out three pads of frozen butter, when another basket of bread was brought out and I asked for more butter, we were... More

Absolutely do not go to this place. Food terrible, owner a very rude woman. There are plenty places to eat in Arles, just not this one.

I am very surprised at some of the reviews for this restaurant. We have been to this restaurant on 3 previous trips to Arles. This year we we had 4 perfectly satisfactory meals here. Our waiter Jose was more than attentive, given how busy the man was. We got on so well with him. The food was very satisfactory and... More
