I went for lunch and had a light white fish. Absolutely prepared to perfection. It was a beautiful day, sat outside next to the fountain. It was one of my favorites!

On a quiet square, in the old town, a nice place to have lunch outside after visiting the local markets. Good food and wine, to enjoy near one of the many fountains of this beautiful old town.

We stumbled across L'Epicerie on our trip to Aix-En-Provence where we were staying at the Hotel Cezanne (read my review on this hotel and some of the other places we went to in Aix). The sun was shining and the outside tables were full of a buzz of French patrons so we stopped for lunch. The menu had a variety... More

Lovely setting on the square. Excellent well prepared food. I have never been let down and the food is local and adjusted to what available for the season. Superb service. Its pricy but definitely worth it. The food is way above average and the location is perfect.

A delicious lunch under the trees with minimal surrounding traffic or crowds. The wine recommendations of little known local wineries were terrific. I thought the prices were reasonable for the quality of fare.

Every holiday it happens most people to fall in tourist trap. (over price and unfriendly) This year for us on an attractive looking terrace just out the crowded the center but with Rude non interested staff a toilet which was too dirty to use, over expensive drinks and bad food. I recall a coke and orange juice for 9,80 euro... More

service pretentious, food poor, starters devoid of taste or imagination, main meal not much better, wine overpriced. So sorry I had not looked it up on tripadvisor before we went it would have saved a lot of money. So many other good restaurants in Aix where the food is excellent.Avoid this one.

I have a fairly extensive experience of reviewing restaurants and I happen to know the city of Aix very well. All I can say about this restaurant is, don't get fooled by the location. Their kitchen is a tiny room above the restaurant, without all the necessary means to be categorized as a proper restaurant. The food is pricy for... More

Located in a lovely square where is easy to find but not as crowded as others. The waitress speaks good English and is very friendly. The food is OK a bit over price though, but what you paid is actually for the relaxing atmosphere I think.
