The older gentleman (maybe the owner) was unfriendly and grouchy as we came in during a horse racing programme on TV. He was drinking too. I ordered the duck noodle soup. The broth was tasteless. The minced pork and rice crepes were horrible. The crepes...fell apart with very little meat in them. Nothing like authentic Vietnamese food. Very disappointed.More
We made a reservation through an app “the fork” which the owner obviously uses frequently. Afterwards we paid through the app, which we showed him prior to doing it, make No Mistake… He was Very Aware of what we were doing. We showed him that...we paid, then on the way out he started pointing at the bill saying We Did Not Pay!! We had to pay again, in the end He Accepted BOTH PAYMENTS! The worst part is that the food is Mediocre at Best. Avoid this place, it’s a scam. He knew what he was doing…More
This was the Best restaurant and i mean it. It has excellent food. I think the pho is the best in the world and I mean that because it had a different flavors then other pho that I have tasted and I really love that. The food is good, although I was a bit disappointed by the pho that I found quite testeless. The service is ok, not too fast but they serve everybody pretty much at the smae time. Plus the waiter was nice enough to wait for us...even though we arrived pretty late and to tolerate the mess made by our kids. The temperature was perfect in the room, despite the hot weather and the lack of AC.More
I’m a big fan of beef Pho soup and this place has an outstanding one. Also the starter rouleax primtemp was delicious too. The staff is very friendly and courteous. I definitely recommend this place if you are in the area and feeling like eating...a good Vietnamese food.More
Le Col5 deserves its near 5 star rating. The food we had was beautifully presented, and they had clearly taken care with getting fresh authentic Vietnamese ingredients. I can't think of anywhere better that we've eaten at since our trips to Vietnam itself.
Wonderfully friendly staff, fantastic food and a lovely ambience made our night at Le col5. Having visited Vietnam, we know a good Pho and their offering was simply sublime! Very fair prices as well, highly recommended for anyone keen for something a bit less French...in Aix en Provence!More
