We ate here having found that our intended restaurant was closed. It was a Sunday. I had a pleasant soused mackerel starter and my wife a delicious fish soup which she reckoned had plenty of crab in it. She followed up with spicy fish accompanied...More

Very decent food for its price range. Place is crowded but the street is not busy. Staff is efficient and punctual.

I sought out this restaurant with my family due to the reviews here. We received warm and friendly services and the standard of food was very good and excellent value. The Moules were particularly good. Sadly my husband is not a great fan of seafood...More

Bland food and a poor attitude. It is a typical tourist trap in a great location serving up poor food. Do yourself a favour and head to the back streets for good food if that’s what you want

Excellent oysters reasonably priced. Moule mariniere disappointing, tiny mussels over cooked. Well cooked sea bass. Service and value for money good. Nice carafe of very acceptable house rosé.

Having checked out several restaurants, this provided the best value- and excellent quality. Accompanied by a nice carafe of wine- lovely!

We just happened to come across this place on a day trip to La Rochelle. The beef tartare was amazing. I seem to always order tartare and am in a bit of a rut! This particular one was perfectly seasoned. Hubby ordered it and raved...More

First Sunday evening of the French holidays, and La Rochelle was packed. We browsed round the restaurants once, then realised it was 'musical chairs' time and if we didn't sit down NOW, the most popular would be full. So we picked this one. Fish soup,...More

The mussels where poor. There was a bead found in one of the servings. There was no apology when we where overcharged.
