This restaurant was recommended by a Vanuatu Facebook page and didn’t disappoint. It wasn’t a cheap meal but it compared with the price of meals at the resorts. The ambiance of the setting sun and fabulous flavours were a true reflection of Vanuatu fare. As...a family we sampled entree’s, mains and desserts. Had the lunch special and oh my it was so good. We had the calamari salad, fantastic and the Tuna curry which my companion said was best had ever had. The service was terrific, the view absolutely amazing. Also included in the lunch special was...fruit punch.....so fresh and tasty....loved it. We had no room for sweets but did envy the people at the next table with the creations they had ordered. I am only sorry we went to The Blue Marlin at the end of our stay in Port Vila as we would have made another visit. Highly recommend.More

We came here as a group of 9 expecting great things due to the high rating on trip advisor. The service was friendly and meals nicely presented. Myself and another at the table ordered the scallops at our table. We both spent the next 24...hours with our head in a toilet bowl. I tried to contact the restaurant to advise of the situation, as perhaps there was an issue with their scallop supplier. The manager was extremely rude, defensive and unapologetic. Snapping back with “what do you want me to do?!?”More

Stopped in just randomly and discovered some decently priced lunch specials. Food had been really expensive and very underwhelming so far during our stay in Vanuatu. This restaurant is presented meticulously with wonderful views. We ordered a main meal each off the lunch specials. The...local Vanuatu staff were all very lovely. Our meal came out presented beautifully and smelt delicious, it was great. We also got sticky date pudding to share and it might of just been the best I have ever had (It’s my favourite so I get it almost every time I get dessert somewhere) Definitely our best meal here so far and especially the best for costs. Other meals not on the specials board did get quite pricey though.More

Stunning outlook matched by impeccable service and top notch food. Sited high on the water's edge of Port Vila Harbour it's in the perfect spot to watch the sunset while sipping your starting drinks of the night.

I found that as soon as they realised we have a 2 year old they didnt want to serve us. NO ONE was there but they had a booking. There was 2 cars parked in the car park and the whole dinning room empty. There...was a small amount of people.on the deck. We left because they said that they "didnt have room"More

We were wanting a nice meal to celebrate my 40th birthday while holidaying in Vanuatu a few weeks ago. I was recommended The Blue Marlin Club and it did not disappoint. I emailed Matt (head chef and manager) the day before and asked him if...they had much gluten free items on the menu as I am coeliac. He came back really quickly and said that they could definitely cater for me, and to ask for him and he would come out a discuss the menu with me at our table. Once we were at our table he came out and went through the menu with me personally. There was plenty for me to choose from, and he highly recommended the Beef Cheeks, which I decided to go for and it did not disappoint. They were so tender (I didn’t even pick up my knife) and melted in my mouth. It is on the pricier side but was well worth it. Outstanding view of the harbour as well as amazing sunset.More
