We went to this restaurant in the evening and in the middle of the week. We were surprised to see how full it was. This place seems to be famous in Nantes. The waitresses were running everywhere but they did their job very well. The service was fast. The food is quite simple and fat but it was very good.

It was right across the street from my hotel, Hotel Mercure Gand Centre. As is the custom in Nantes most places open at 7pm and the majority of people eat between 830-930pm. This place has a nice ambiance and feel to it. You can dine outside which I would recommend or inside. They don't have an extensive menu but it... More

A simple, straightforward menu with no choices for starter & main and lots of desserts. Good value, nicely cooked, well served.

We didn't know where to eat and looked on Trip Advisor for a place. It was the closest restaurant to the hotel. It wasn't cheap (20€ / person, no drinks included ), but that's the price for one of the best entrecôte I've had. The sauce is a differential, all you can eat fries. If you're not on a shoestring,... Great service and very nice staff. There is only one item on the menu, steak with a secret and fabulous sauce. Dinner comes with frites and a nice salad starter. If you have not been to a L'Entrecote before, do yourself a favour and go but go early as the line up to get in happens very fast.

We have now been to three of the five L'Entrecote restaurants across France over recent years and although Nantes wasn't our favourite overall city, there is no doubt that the consistency of this small chain is exceptional. Great service, nice surroundings and always attentive. If it's steak you want there is no better! Next year Montpellier we hope!

You only go to this one-formula long-established (since 1962) restaurant chain (in 5 French cities) to have a particular top cut of meat, served with a one-of-a-kind fabulous sauce (kept secret for the longest time until it was revealed by unscrupulous people online) and all you can eat perfect french fries. That comes with a great perfectly seasoned green salad... More

Only one dish on the menu, steak (served how you like it) and chips with a green salad starter. If you have not been to a L'Entrecote before and happen to be near one, do yourself a favor and go. The unlimited frites and the garlic butter sauced steak is fantastic and while it is a bit on the expensive... More

A simple dish but you still keep on coming back and order the same thing! The sauce! What's in it?! It's delicious!

Description
The unique menu remained unchanged since the beginning. This formula is a decked slice of sirloin of 170 grams accompanied by french fries and its famous sauce. His son Henry, opened a restaurant in Toulouse in 1962, in Bordeaux in 1966, in Nantes in 1980, in Montpellier in 1990, and finally, in Lyon in 1999.

These restaurants are characterized by scots and black mural, a lemon yellow topping and hostesses dressed with yellow apron and black blouse. The exterior is beautified by yellow and black blinds vertical stripes for the best effect.
