Went here as recomended in rough guide. Had a good quality cheap set menu in a nice location in the old town. Place was popular and filled up quickly.

Best entrecôte I've had in a while. Nicely situated next to old Eglise de Saint-Maclou. Also serves local Norman beer, cider and pommeau.

I was there for dinner and had a very good experinece. I had the fish tartar, the gigot (lamb) and some cheese. There war very good service. What could have made this experincen better? The fish tartar was a bit too lemony. The cheese and the bread was too cold. The gigot would have enjoyed a bit of sauce and... More

If your travel plans bring you to Rouen, a must stop for dinner is Auerge St-Maclou. The experience from start to finish was incredibly pleasurable. The waiter was friendly and helpful, and the food was simply wonderful.

Luckily we stopped in early and got a table. By the time we left the restaurant was packed. The food was exceptional. It was typical French fare done a a very high level. The server helped us navigate the menu and select items that were exceptional. This restaurant was an easy walk from the cathedral area. We would definitely go... More

We went for an evening meal in Rouen after a recommendation from our hotel concierge. This little place had a fantastic waiter, very patient with our shaky French, and the food was just excellent. Good value for the quality. Highly recommended.

My mum and I had a lovely meal in this restaurant. The food was delicious and the waiter was enthusiastic, friendly and described the dishes with a passion as if he was cooking the meal himself. A really nice experience.

We were stupidly in a hurry and wanted to have "fast" dinner at 7pm. Wandered around and got to this place as first dinner quests. All good, english menu and some english from the waiter. Food was good and after 8pm the place was full. Of local, which is always a good sign! Open mind and prepared: great place!

We did the Plat du Jour. The usual choices but we were so surprised at the presentation and the waiter gave us great wine suggestions. Steak cooked to perfection. English accepted.
