I went with my boyfriend in September, and we knew this was going to be the one expensive meal of our holiday (and it was!), the food was utterly fab and the service was good, we got the 3 course menu (not the most expensive one, I think it was around 35€ a head), and a bottle of wine with... End of a fortnight multi-stop driving holiday through France. Honfleur was pretty busy and some of the more famous restaurants were fully booked, so we popped into La Tortue: Good things: - Quaint, comfortable, simple, French feel - Really friendly staff - made to feel very welcome - Food was excellent and the wine list complemented it well - Reasonably... We read the reviews on Trip Advisor and headed for this restaurant. Needed to reserve a table as people were being turned away. We are so pleased we ate here. It was very friendly and the food was amazing. Typical French cuisine.

I highly recommend this place. This restaurant is going out of the crowd and the hustle from the harbor of Honfleur. The chef Romain has a really significant culinary experience thanks to his past work has an Executive Chef in several locations over the globe. The menu is short and the ingredients are all local, you should try the apple... More

4 of s visited this restaurant in Honfleur and were so impressed. It is situated facing the harbour and this lovely town had lovely weather as well which of course helped. 3 of us had the Moules Mariniere ( mussels in a large cooking pot) served with bread and Frites for a very reasonable price. The atmosphere was great. It... More

Arrived without a booking on a Saturday night, however they found a table upstairs. Fixed price menu had sufficient choice and we choose the full four courses. These were interspersed with excellent appetisers . The main course of Normandy pork was delicious, good selection of 3 local cheeses and rounded off with baked apple in filo pastry. Well done to... A charming restaurant. An absolutely delightful and relaxed Sunday lunch on our wedding anniversary. Very good food rather redolent of the simple quality France used to provide in spades. I think every other customer was French in this gorgeous but touristy town. Service by a waitress named Valerie was excellent: friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

With so many restaurannts to choose from, we decided to just follow our nose and hey presto we found the perfect place! :-) what a great cook, I never had such a tasteful vegetarian meal in years. It was super. The waiter was very attentive and gave us good advice which wine to choose. We are definitely coming back. Thanks... More

You need to book in advance ( we booked Thursday lunchtime for the last free table in the evening) to enjoy the friendly atmosphere and great food. Would definitely go again.

Wonderful lunch of a fish soup, that had large chucks of fresh fish and shrimp. Great steak to follow and excellent fries. Last but not least was a light as air chocolate souffle.
