There are many restaurants in the port area that have changed over the past five years to cater mainly for tourists and visitors off the Seine boats and cruise ships, this is one of them, dingy interior with tables close together, speedy service dispensing simple food passed off as local dishes, a mix of waiting staff roaming around in their... There are a lot of places to choose from all around the main harbour and it's anyone's guess which are the good ones let alone the best ones. We usually just pick the ones that look popular or look a bit different. This one was both. The staff were OK, and the food was OK. It did seem very expensive... More

This restaurant is nicely located on the harbor….and they manage to attract tourists because of this location….…..the waitress is all but professional…..there is a guy looming around telling stupid joke… very bad food, frozen stuff, not homemade…quick money made …..wine list….a joke…6 wines… no taste…. nothing…nothing…. it was probably the worse dining experience in my entire life…. We stayed overnight in the beautiful town of Honfleur, and walked round the harbour to be made very welcome by a waiter, who provided us with a table by the harbour. We chose off one of the set menus, and enjoyed Oysters, and Moule et Frites followed by Chocolate Mousse. All in all an excellent meal in a beautiful setting.

The bottle of Cote de Provence was very pleasant, if rather expensive, and the location on the harbour lovely. My husband provided the scintillating conversation as usual which was just as well since we had to wait almost an hour for our very disappointing main course to appear. SO ... We chose the wrong one! It was devoid of any of the oldness of the building for a start, food wasn't brilliant but not absolutely terrible but the staff basically were two stroppy women who I think were keen to go home, there was no pleasantries just your food banged down on the table!

Not worth the money. Unfriendly waitress. Food looks like being prepared by a chef that got his diploma for free. Just don't go there.

Over priced, beware of the drinks trap prices. Very average food in small portions. Just go somewhere else, don't stop here just cause it's the first in the street.

My wife and I and my inlaws stopped by here on our visit to Honfleur. We picked this restaurant amid the hoards that crowd this open pier area as there were seats available (not the best criteria for choosing a restaurant by the way!). Our waiter was the one highlight of the meal. He was funny and charismatic. But the... More
