By far the best meal we had in all of France. Lovely staff, charming decor, and excellent value. We were the only native English speakers there and felt very at welcomed. Food was simply superior.

This restaurant is exactly what you hope to find in provincial France - but you rarely do. Having been given the runaround by our chichi hotel restaurant, we found this one on TripAdvisor. We were greeted with open arms - and delighted to find a traditional menu at half the price we had paid the night before. The food was... More

This is a MUST book! Incredible food! Because we didn't book ahead of time, only lunch on our last day was available. Would have loved dinner, as well! This is very high end, Michelin worthy, dining!

Don't let the quaint cozy dining room fool you the quality of food coming out of the kitchen at La Petite Auberge is amazing. Be sure not to miss the langoustine starter and the pigeon entree. My husband drooled over the Calvados dessert and the wine list is nicely curated. Highly recommend.

With its expensive hotels and designer shops I think when you compare Deauville with Trouville one would expect Deauville to have the better restaurants, but you often get the best deals off the beaten track and it's very true of this little gem. The restaurant has one smallish, simple but pretty room; 24 covers and one very busy and very... More

Dinner for two. We booked before we went, and we were glad we did as once we arrived every table was booked. There are only about 10 tables so the atmosphere is cosy. We ate from the set menu, three courses for 40euro and had a bottle of pinot noire for 32 euro. The service was a bit cold at... More

We spent a week in Normandie and La Petite Auberge was definitely the best dinner we had. Everything we tried was of great taste and very creative preparation. The ambiance is very pleasant and the restaurant is tucked in a quiet street of Trouville away from the crowds.

Went to La Petite Auberge for Christmas Day lunch. They ran their normal menu, which comes in at 40 euros per head (although at lunchtime we understand you can choose to have just 2 courses for 29 euros). We both chose the scallops for starters, which was accompanied by thin slices of fried proscuitto - stunning. The pheasant main course... More

They have very good and fresh food in this tiny restaurant. Only quite costly. Sometimes a little cramped.

Just as a first off: these two towns (Deauville and Trouville) are even more expensive than Geneva! Having digested this piece of information, you should really have a meal at the Petite Auberge when in area. From the agains in my intro you may deduct that I've eaten here at least three times and never once was I disappointed, which... More
