Stayed locally at Le Pluie des Roses B&B. Had tea and icecream late afternoon after touring the garden and house. Easily seated as coach parties had left. Service efficient and courteous. Owned by the Monet Foundation.

very conveniently located right outside Monet's garden, with a little garden of its own and attractive outdoor seating. Menu is quite standard but food was good. Very expensive for what it is as you would expect in this location!

Lunch before the visiting the house and garden, busy but got seated and serviced resonably quick. Our meals were v good and the chicken kebab was above average, served with a smile and good humour by the manager. It was made better by having Mary from Ireland on the next table.

We ate here after visiting the Gardens. Had a group of 5 and we were seated almost straight away (whilst other people waiting, waited as there was no room for tables of 4 or less available in busy lunch period) Took a while to take our order. Menu was fairly basic (not a great deal of choice) Came out fairly... More

The outside looks charming and the hostess was very welcoming. It was raining so we asked to be seated inside. We got a table in the back room with big windows to the backyard. The service was pleasant, the waiter was nice and spoke a little English. He also helped me find an outlet to recharge my iPhone while we... More

Eating here will aid the foundation. Long waits when the tour buses are about to leave. Give yourself plenty of time to get traditional dishes.

First, we had different quiches: excellent in quality and generous portions. Service was very friendly and the tables outdoors were great on a cool summer day. Price was fair though wine was on the expensive side. Eating at this restaurant is a great way to finish a visit to the Money gardens across the street.

We ate here twice for lunch. On both occasions the food was very good and the staff were very friendly. They even had l'escargots which were delicious!

My daughters saw the gardens and then spent the rest of the morning looking for a place to lunch. This was a fabulous pick. Two of us got quiches which were yummy. Very large portion. Choice of french fries or salad. Another is our party got the duck which was perfectly cooked.

Very enjoyable meal with flavourful food made with very fresh ingredients. The "plat du jour" comes with a very delicious dessert.

The restaurant «Les Nymphéas» is located just in front of the Claude Monet’s house and settled down in an old farm from Monet’s time. You will be charmed by the terrace surrounded with flowers, as an invitation to extend the atmosphere of the visit of the gardens. A nice team will show you in the dining room and make you discover the open patio overlooking the typical yard of the farm called “ clos normand “
