We were staying at the Royal for New Year's Eve (review to follow) and wanted a nearby restaurant. The Barriere owned Le Ciro is fantastic. The food - predominantly fish is very good and the wines - if you're sensible - are not excessively priced. We didn't see it in its full splendour of a summer's evening, but the service... More

Last year we were taken here by some clients and the food was terrific, in particular the Dover sole which was sublime. Unfortunately this did not happen this year. We oredred a massive mixed seafood pl;atter to share for the tabel. Some decent crab and a few proawns and a bit of lobster,m but there were not enough of these... More

in location, service and the sole meuniere. We try to come for lunch every time we are visiting normandy. The location directly at the beach and its promenade. At anytime of the year worth to visit. The service, longtime waiters and very attentive. Our favorite a huge sole, don't order a big starter unless you are very hungry. The sole... More

The food and service here complement the lovely location on the promenade. The meal started well with the nicest bread we had at any restaurant in our eight day trip. Amuse Bouche of small cheese pastries were tasty. We shared a starter of huge crevettes rose which were the most expensive and the best we ate. Main course of veal... More

We –family of 4- recently had diner at this upmarket restaurant at the beach. The view is great and so are the food and wine. We choose the bouillabaisse and weren’t disappointed at all, as the soup was filled with a variety of fresh fish including lobster. The dessert was lovely too. The kids menu was of good quality, though... More

Freshest fish and seafood. Top service, directly at the beach. Best french people coming here. Outstanding experience. Belongs to Barriere Group. Bill on your room if you are guest at one of their three hotels in Deauville. A must to come here,

We were there with our children on Saturday evening and had a good time. The bouillabaisse was exceptional. The starters were original, the service good but not great and you could clearly see that they favour regular guests. That said, it was a good experience and the place is recommended.

UPmarket, high end stiff. Atmosphere is a bit stilted but once the food comes, what a delght. I chose wrongly for the started in so far as I ordered large shrimp which were delicious, but did not compare to the stunning dishesd my friends received. However, I then had the dover sole, whcih was probably the best fish dish I... More

I was there with my family this august and we had a wonderful experience. This is a real restaurant compared to the Bar du soleil and Bar de la Mer (see my review on this one too) We were the only ones outside but we still had a very attentive staff taking care of us. Food was excellent, very fresh... More
