We had a great lunch here and both tried our first Gallettes and were not disappointed. The restaurant was clean and well socially distanced. More importantly, the food and service was great. They seem really child friendly as well. The sweet crepes looked amazing although...we were too full to eat one. If you visit Caen this is a must for lunch. The two guys that run it are lovely as well and made us feel very welcome with our rubbish French not getting in the wayMore
I had a tartiflette crêpe (reblochon, cream, onions, potatoes, bacon) and my boyfriend a forestière (cream, bacon, mushrooms). They were both prepared at the moment with fresh products of good quality. The dough was tasty, crunchy and light. The crêpe came at the right temperature,...warm but not scorching, and it was accompanied by a green salad with the right amount of mustard vinaigrette. It was abundant but not excessive. As a dessert we shared a chocolate-pear crumble. It was one portion but largely sufficient for two people. It was tasty, earthy, fresh and not too sweet. An original variation from the classic apple crumble.
The restaurant is squeaky clean and decorated with taste. Even the bottles used for tap water are stylish (oh, and the tap water has no unpleasant backtaste). The waiter was fast, kind and smiling.
The only thing that can improved is the coffee, it tasted like burnt. I know it was from a more-than-decent Nespresso capsule, but I'm Italian and very picky with coffee.
The rest was flawless, congrats to the owners!More
The pancakes were fine. The guy brought the wrong order. Egg instead of ham. But okay, mistakes can be made. The orders didn’t came at the same time. I can understand that with a small crêperie. However they were so rude to us: the buggy...wasnt allowed, the children couldnt hold a menu card and we weren’t allowed to watch them make a pancake. We didnt feel welcome with kids.More

We came to Normandy with both our sons. My eldest son has Asperger syndrome and he is interested in all the WW11 museums and it was a belated 21st birthday present for him, We would not have come otherwise. We found some restaurants very expensive...and the food absolutely awful and a total rip off. We found this restaurant had excellent reviews so decided to go. The restaurant is small and cosy and the two guys who run the restaurant were both very friendly and pleasant and all the food was delicious. It was so delicious and we have been back 3 time. We would all highly recommend the savoury and dessert crepes because you wont be disappointed.More
Arriving in Caen we found this address a couple of meters from our parkingplace...whow, what a nice suprise. Although a Saturday evening and no reservation we managed to get a table for 2. Very good galettes! Jus go there !
Food was outstanding, service was friendly and best of all Fiona the Frenchie was there to greet us on our second visit the next day. It was so good we went back for a second visit before leaving Caen.
