After a very long, hot day of travel we just wanted to sit, cool off and enjoy some food. At 4:30 in the afternoon no other restaurants were open. We were seated easily as there were no other patrons. The pina colada was not very good - stick to something else to drink. My husband had the club sandwich and... More

We enjoyed the outdoor dining. The staff was busy with a crowd on a Sunday evening. Typical French starters were good and we enjoyed the cider.

Right in the heart of town, this is a nice place for good food. It is always busy so get a reservation. Ample menu to choose from and the service is attentive without being overbearing. Fun atmosphere.

Ate here on two occasions and the food and service was very good. All the waiters speak english. Nice dining area outside and open longer hours than most restaurants.

We had dinner at Le Garde. The beef was stringy and the other entree's were unforgettable. There are much better places to spend your money while visiting Bayeux.

Midi de Jour was for us 3 lunch time courses, which is a limited choice but also economical the starter was good, fish course for the main and for me creme Brûlée for the last course. nice place for lunch, busy with everybody seeming to be enjoying themselves. Nice lunch time break from site seeing.

We went here for lunch. The food was okay. Nothing special. The staff were nice, friendly and efficient. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here. There are other great restaurants in Bayeux.

We stayed in Bayeux August 2015 with family and friends for several days. This restaurant had wonderful food and atmosphere. We had lunch and dinner there, as well as afternoon crepes and ice cream for the kids, and cocktails for the adults. The Calvados flight was delicious!

The only place we could find easily in Bayeux that actually did mussels! The sauce was very tasty, but the mussels a little under-cleaned and there were a few bits of grit left, overall good, and well cooked, however they could do with a little more time spent on the prep work. The frites were delicious, and the staff very... More

We had tried other places in Bayeux and heard of this one by word of mouth. The biggest problem in Bayeux was finding a restaurant that was open before seven p.m., but on the day we went, it was already after seven. Service was relatively prompt compared to a few two hour long dinners. It was getting chilly with a... More
