MICHELIN Guide's Point of View

Just behind the cathedral, this restaurant is a favourite with the locals. Indeed, it's impossible to resist the very fair prices, the well - made mark...

The food was very good. However we waited 20 minutes fir a bottle of water. Need to improve the services. The place is ok with small terase.

Extraordinary quality of dishes at ordinary prices. A wonderful dinner, this restaurant is a real gem. The lobster ravioli was exquisite. The pork tender, full of taste - delicious.

The food was very good quality and had been lovingly prepared and presented. The wine we chose was exceptional. The service too was very good even though we were out on the patio and all the tables were occupied. We celebrated my wife’s milestone birthday...with a meal here in style. ThankyouMore

A very small menu, but all the dishes we had were very well presented and very tasty. Service was good. A bit overpriced in my opinion.

This restaurant stands out as simply superior in all ways. French dining has no comparison and we enjoyed the chocolate mousse dessert immensely as well as the rest of the meal.

If you’re staying in Bayeux for a couple of days, do yourself a favour and make sure you have a reservation for Au P’tit Bistrot. It is well worth your while. The menu is short but we had different dishes and everything was exquisite. Tastes...were simple but very refined with surprusing combinations. Le Fromage Travaillé was out of this world. The bill afterwards was about half of what we’d expect to pay for a meal like this with water, wine and coffees. We were quite disappointed they were fully booked for the rest of our stay.More

It was hard to get in here in high season and we soon found out why: we were welcomed very friendly & the food was delicious. Had one of the best deserts I've ever had here!

This is a small restaurant with great food. The food quality is way above it’s price which I think they manage to achieve because their menu is minuscule. Literally 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 salad, cheese and 3 desserts. This might be an issue for...some as there truly isn’t much of a choice. But if you are not picky with food and like to try things, this is fabulous value for money. The food was excellent, great ingredients well cooked and with great service.More

Recently visited this lovely little restaurant, food and service was amazing. If you’re going, make sure you book as it was full the night we went.

I found this restaurant on trip advisor and booked a table based on the comments here. I was extremely happy with the choice! Service was so friendly and professional, how she manages the whole floor all by herself was truly amazing. They had a menu...where you choose one of two choices. We went in blindly but it was soo delicious! Each meal after the other beautifully presented and so tasteful. Very wide selection of good wines also. Highly recommended! Call for a reservation, else you will be sadly sent back out. 👌🏻More

A Friday lunch offered a choice from two appetisers, two main courses and two desserts. Our group enjoys this because we feel a chef can focus on perfection rather than trying to accommodate all tastes and we were all thrilled by our selections. The kitchen...even prepared vegetarian appetisers and mains, even though our vegetarians arrived without providing any advance notice (foolish indeed in France). I had a delicious foie gras and a lovely blanquette de veau. Highly recommend.More

We were so lucky to have gotten a table here. They only do one serving per evening so don't try to just walk in. Do whatever you have to do to get a reservation. Most restaurants in Bayeux require a reservation and it can be...difficult to do. Trust me this place is worth doing whatever you have to do to get in. The food is local fresh and prepared with percision. I thought that the prices were low in comparison to the quality and service. Don't pass this place up. It is truly the best in BayeuxMore

This is a small place so you may want to book. The food was very good but the chef uses some unusual ingredients in ways that are perhaps untraditional. We felt that some dishes worked better than others but the service was very good and...the selections very fresh. I would recommend.More
