We dined here quite by chance and the charming owner squeezed us in at the last minute. When I asked for the wine list he just tapped his head. There is no list. Just all around the restaurant his private collection. We drank delicious burgundy,...More

We had 4 dinners in Bayeux and while all were very good, this evening was special. We sat at a high-top by a window looking out on a window box and the water. The owner (I believe) was great fun and very attentive as well...More

In the centre of Bayeux, its' hard to make a better choice. Excellent food, fairly priced. Clearly a restaurant that is run with love for great wines, atmosphere and hospitality. We really enjoyed our plat du jour for lunch.

This is a must eat place if your in town. We chose the chefs menu which was a wonderful pork and quiche. The bread is marvellous. I asked for a wine recommendation and the wine they paired with the meal was superb!!!

I was hesitant to try this place for dinner as it was more like a place for wine than for food, but it had really good reviews so we went anyways. There are only very selective items to choose from to eat and they have...More

This is primarily a wine cellar, which also serves foods to match the wines. You can either choose a bottle on the shelves or follow the advice of the sommelier. Either way, this is an enjoyable way to spend part of an evening. Recommended.
