My husband and I ate dinner here a few weeks ago and we had a very enjoyable experience. The restaurant was very cozy and they had a great wine selection. The charcuterie and cheese boards were delicious. Our server made some excellent recommendations, especially wine recommendations, and the owner checked in with us after our meal and engaged us in... We ate at this restaurant in May, 2015, after reading about it on Tripadvisor. This place is more like a wine store with a small restaurant area on the side. The menu was limited, and the wait staff provided efficient service. They offered sparkling pear cider when we were seated, and we found it to be different but likeable. We... More

This was a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. The service was extraordinary. Each course was mouthwatering. The sauce au poivre vert was superb! Wish they were in my neighborhood in California. We would return often! They suggested wines to go with the courses and they were wonderful and priced reasonably. If fact, we bought a bottle of each... More

We had met the owner, Henri Pierre, at the Bayeux farmers market that morning and had purchased a bottle of pear cider from him (which was excellent). He mentioned his restaurant in passing and gave us a flyer. Later that evening, we walked in for a late meal. We were greeted warmly and the wine selections were explained to us.... More

Perhaps better for lunch than dinner. The food was good but not remarkable and the selection was slim. Our quiet table for two was disrupted by a party of six sitting so close that one of us leaning back in our chairs found herself an instant member of the other party.

This was recommended to me, so I wasn't surprised that it was good. Actually more a wine shop than a restaurant, it offers a limited menu, served with a smile. Naturally, there is no problem choosing aé wine to accompany the meal! Ask the staff for their recommendations. They certainly didn't try and get us to buy anything too expensive... More

Tucked away, this small but hospitable spot serves excellent food with a large selection of wines. The staff was helpful and hospitable to the extreme. It's a place you want to visit over and over. Felt like home but with better food. Lol.

what a fantastic evening. We were initially informed that the restaurant was full and that we would have to wait an hour. So we toured the surrounding area for something comparable. Having not found anything, we returned and said that we would wait the hour suggested. We requested some wine and were asked our preference, we said dry but not... More

Monsieur Henri and staff do a wonderful job with both food and service, and should be a must stop for wine lovers. Excellent little location on the canal on downtown. Definite 4 stars for sure, but make reservations as they're aren't many tables.
