Wondered around bayeux looking for a restaurant that was open, too early at 5 o'clock so ended up here for a drink pending the other places being open, but the atmosphere here is really friendly and excellent beers and decent food, needless to say we were set for the evening, I would recommend a visit but watch out for the... Found this great little pub just around the corner from where we were staying. Small, quaint with good food at very reasonable prices. Liked it so much, we returned the next night!

What could be better than a French-Irish Pub, as the sign proudly advertises. It was very near our hotel (Tardif). With friendliness of Owners Mark (French) and Dara (Irish) as well as lovely bartender Chloe, we stopped by before dinner every night and after dinner a few times. Even had a quick omelette and hot dog for lunch one day... More

During a recent trip to France to visit the D Day beaches, we stayed in the Bayeux area and ate twice in Le Conquerant. The food was excellent (pub food of course) and the staff was very friendly. Very close the the cathedral and tapestry museum. Highly recommended for a meal or a drink or both.

We had a drink in an Irish bar at the top of Rue St Jean, this was our first visit to a bar in Bayeux. For a bikers bar the woman was extremely unfriendly and shot daggers at us the whole time we were in there, we think this was because of our dog who we had asked if he... More

Yes, maybe it is british pub but the owners are warm and French! the bar is well stocked and friendly with locals as well as tourists. The town is lovely to stroll so have a wall and stop in the lovely places you find.

Discovered this place during a recent stay in Bayeux. It is conveniently placed close to town opposite the Bayeux tapestry museum. Used it most evenings for pre dinner drinks. Very reasonably priced & used by both tourists and locals. Bar staff very helpful , friendly and attractive. La meme chose !

Good casual place with some local items. Relax with some cold cider in the afternoon. Sit inside or out

The kids and my hubby stopped here while I did a bit of shopping up and down the street. They had board games for them to play and they really enjoyed the atmosphere. The bathroom was quite unique...very french country-chic.

No idea if they serve food or not, as we only came for the cheap beers at the end of the evening (2 or 3 euro for the small glass, 5 for the big one). This place closes around midnight or so. Be respectful of the neighbours: if you're sitting outside with your friends later in the evening, keep your... More
