One of our better meals in Bayeux. We had a salad. Fresh and just the right portion size..Friendly service and very nice young lady who was patient with my French. She spoke English but allowed me to try.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights and dined here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything was good. I especially enjoyed the salmon salad and carafe of wine on the patio for a relaxing lunch. The restaurant had good, reasonably priced specials for dinner every night, and the service was always prompt and friendly.

Had dinner here, food and service were average and expensive for what it was. Staff a bit snooty, act like it's the Ritz.

They have a large indoor and outdoor seating area and a very nice menu, I had a sandwich with fries and everything was very good. I don't think it was overpriced, but if you are from the states be careful because everywhere the beer is very expensive. 7-10 euro per large glass.

Loved the luncheon on the patio in the middle of town. Reasonable pricing, good size portions, good food.

My husband, adult son, and I visited on a lovely evening and were able to sit outside. Service was very good, unrushed, and our waiter very patiently explained the menu in his best English! He helped us make choices typical of the local cuisine. We were able to try local ciders and a French beer as well as a Kir... More

The mussels were excellent, we were served quickly and the terrace warming was turned on as it got later, very popular and value for money.

We were staying at the Hotel Reine Mathilde and decided to eat at their restaurant after our D-Day guide highly recommended the place. We had the Camembert and Sausage plate to start, ordered a bottle of their Chablis (2013 Fevre) and then we shared the oysters and moule/frites. The staff was extremely friendly and punctual. Great place for a nice... More

We got there about 7:30, and got a table instantly, just good timing. Although they were busy, we had 2 different waiters, and seem to do well waiting on us - only had to ask for ice 2x (there's always an issue with ice in Europe, lol)

Had a lovely dinner there with my husband, the salmon was really well cooked and the waiter was very accommodating as we asked for a few extras with our food. Upon paying the bill Our lovely waiter also told us about the Notre damme cathedral light show that would take place shortly after we left the restaurant. We went to... More
