Recommended by our hotel, tour guide and through tripadvisor we had the opportunity to have an absolutely wonderful meal in a wonderful restaurant with wonderful and welcoming staff. Everything was perfect and delicious, from the bottle of wine to the two different price-fixe menus choosen. Our best meal in the 4 nights that we spent in Bayeux. I strongly suggest... More

Outstanding food at a great location. Wait staff is helpful and accommodating and the food was exceptionally delicious. Do not miss this foodie experience. Linda, the co-owner is terrific!

What is correct is the excellent situation of this restaurant in the center of bustling Bayeux. Easy to find and and not overwhelming sizewise. We had an early reservation and were comfortably seated. The first issue was the reaction of a server when he heard that none of us was drinking alcohol - a pretty distinct sneer of disapproval which... More

This is a small restaurant in the center of Bayeux...ground floor of a c18 building in a tiny courtyard. the food is just terrific, local, and beautifully and simply done. Nice wine list. Lovely people. We just dropped in one night and they could not, of course, accommodate us in such a small space without a reservation; immediately offered us... More

We were treated with the utmost cordiality from the moment we entered until we bid farewell to the charming team managing this excellent restaurant. By no means the least expensive table in Bayeux, it is, clearly, one of the very best and a good value. We ate lamb, skate, and scallops, with wonderful first courses as well, each course accompanied... More

This place has perfected the art of fine dining with an elegant but casual and comfortable. The food was amazing and the presentation kept us oohing and aahing! We were presented with an amuse bouche which we always enjoy. Would have loved to go again.

This is the 4th time that we have visited and we have yet to have something that we don't like. The langoustine risotto was better than some Michelin star restaurants that we have dined in and words cannot describe the cheesecake. Really friendly with an excellent menu. Already booked our next meal in December.

Just wrote a glowing review about a restaurant we visited yesterday. Then we went to La Rapiere this evening and were equally mesmerized! Reservations are necessary, but we lucked out and walked in just after a cancellation. The service was superb and the wine list extensive. They have both an a la carte menu and three escalating menus, each having... More

We went there for dinner after a day at the beach and had a wonderful evening. They treated our 3 kids to great food which was then charged like ordinary kids menues and my husband and I had several mouth-watering courses that make me wish our holidays were not over yet...

Excellent food and service. Go there! (But book, in advance) The cider was a good drink to choose and all ingredients where possible were local.
