Just finished a 3 course dinner here for 25€. Started with an amuse bouche followed by a shot glass of house made gazpacho. First course was a delicious trio of shrimp samosas followed by beef skewer cooked to perfection, and since I couldn't decide which side I wanted they gave me a little of each. For the dessert I enjoyed... More

We accidentally booked at this restaurant, confusing it with another. After discovering our error, we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Food was excellent. Nothing disappointed. Wine selection was not as large as some other restaurants we visited.

Popular restaurant, attended while we were there mostly by tourists, with a menu and price point family friendly. A wee bit understaffed with difficulty getting any attention once the restaurant had filled. Regardless very helpful and friendly when you could get their attention. Recommend for a well located good dining experience without breaking the bank.

Great location near church so made booking. Unfortunately, we were put in the back room with stuffy air and no view. The food was generally ok, though two of us had the lamb for a main that was just plain bad. Chewy, fatty, and over-cooked. Probably the worst main we had in our trip to France. Would not go back... We had only just arrived in Bayeux and wanted to eat so we called in on the chance that there was a table. There was. Staff were friendly if a little unsure what wheat free meant. However it was all ok so great. The food on the €25 menu provided excellent value for money. It was well cooked and attractively... More

We arrived in Bayeux for a full day tour of the D-Day landing areas. While walking through the town, we happened upon this pretty restaurant. Every element of our meal was superb. We had what was recommended and we were very pleased. Even our cheese plate was uniquely delicious.

We visited the restaurant on the hottest day of the year so far ... The car told me 42 degrees c. So we booked this restaurant situated opposite the cathedral. A cool gazpacho was delivered to the table compliments of the chef. Super! We had starters of foie grasse and salmon in lime - both lovely. We both enjoyed the... More

By chance we found this restaurant after seeing the Bayeux Tapestry. What a find! Good food. The lunch including wine and coffee was excellent value. Beautifully and simply presented. Nicely paced. Friendly service.

A great little restaurant near the cathedral, the menu is simple and each dish is tempting, the wine choice is also simple and well chosen. Although small we were not at all bothered by the other clients, the service throughout was efficient and enjoyable. Good value for money, the best restaurant we have been to for a while.

They made my husband a special vegetarian plate and he rated it "5-Star." Our meals were excellent, and the service was very professional. They only do one seating per night, so make reservations early!
