Our first dinner in Bayeux, and it was very good. Very well located near the city center, very nice selection and very good service. Would definitely eat there again. Good variety and well prepared food.

We liked this restaurant enough to go twice. Well prepared, beautiful presentations, delicious! Try the prawns, fondue, and desserts.

Was listed in the Rick Steves book so we opted to try. It looked promising but the waitress was very surly and snobbish. Food delivery was very very slow. Both ordered a pork dish; my husband's was tender and mine was so hard that I couldn't cut it with a knife. The waitress was not interested in helping to solve... More

My husband and I ate here one evening with our two friends and had a very enjoyable dinner. One of my friends and I both had the chicken special and it as well prepared in a very tasty sauce. Service was good, friendly and attentive. Minor quibble - my husband and one of my friends rated their profiteroles as no... More

This was a recommendation from our Hotel to eat here and they made the reservation. The location is lovely, on a nice narrow street with other restaurants around which made for a good atmosphere. The inside is very nice in appearance and was busy enough. The food was excellent but the service was a little slow. Not too friendly either... More

I rarely give negative reviews, but after my experience with this restaurant I felt compelled to tell Tripadvisor readers and spare them the frustration we had. After seeing the Tripadvisor sticker on the establishment's door and reading some reviews we looked forward to an excellent meal. My wife and I travel a fair bit and realize that customs are not... In the shadow of the Cathederal this is a delightful restaurant . We had a set menu which was very good . So a very pleasant venue with sound cooking . But the star has to be the location , eating and looking up at the cathedral spire

we arrived late to bayeux and made a quick decision from our guide book to visit this place. What a surprise - the food was stunning. Albeit the starters were a bit too much portion wise - the quality was top notch. They were very accommodating to us arriving late, and the service was top rate. A fantastic selection of... More

We enjoyed a very good meal in this restaurant. We chose the fixed menue which was reasonably priced. As we had no reservation we had to take the last table left on the out side of the restaurant, We were a bit cold. The service was slow but once the food arrived we forgot all the above.

Description
The owners Isabelle and Thierry Lhuillery are strongly attached to the region, which displays lot's of famous specialities. Their cooking is both original and typical.
The owners know pretty well the local producers, with whom they have been working for many years. When the ingredients are cooked, it is always in the respect of their original flavour, only spices and fresh herbs are added in order to make the best come out of them.
Enjoy eating fresh sea food straight from the coast; try our daily raw marinated fish course, or a slice of duck foie gras flavoured with apple fragrances.
Don't miss our Normandy beef and duck breast, or our delicate fish dressed with a light cream dressing.
Do not also go by, without tasting our local cheeses such as : Camembert, Pont L’Eveque, Livarot or Neufchatel.
And finally to put a pleasant end to this perfect meal try a chaudfroid apple dessert...
It will be our pleasure to help you choosing in our wine and cider list the most appropriate beverage.
